MONTHS FLEW BY WITHOUT ANY contact from the Golden Trio, merely news of more and more Muggleborn and Half-Blood deaths until one day. One day they finally heard from Harry and it certainly wasn't news that they wanted. Cheers and excitements from three weddings and a baby's birth were over quicker than anticipated.

Hazel stood right in between her husband and her father just outside of the Great Hall back in Hogwarts. She certainly wasn't expecting to be back at the school that quick, and definitely not under these conditions. She felt sick to her stomach as her eyes glanced around the rest of the Order, who stood all around her, with Hermione, Ron, Dean and Neville also by their sides.

Hazel let out a shaky breath, all she wanted to do was run back home, just cover herself in a blanket until all of this way over, but she couldn't do that, she needed to help them. Her hand was wrapped tightly in George's, his presence bringing her comfort in such a dark time.

"It seems that despite your exhaustive defensive strategies, you still have a security problem, Headmaster," Hazel heard Harry's voice from inside the Great Hall seconds before the large double doors flew open and the Order stormed inside, all of them with emotionless expressions on their faces and their wands gripped tightly in their palms.

The brunette couldn't help but shiver as a cold breeze hit her. She couldn't believe the state of the place in front of her. She had many fond memories from Hogwarts, and a lot of them took place right here, right in the Great Hall. A place that once was warm, bright and bubbly but now it felt like you were walking straight into death's grip. The ceiling was practically pitch black and stormy. The four long tables were gone and each student was standing upright.  The small candles scattered around the large room gave practically no light or heat. It was just depressing.

Her eyes finally glanced up to the front, where she was so used to seeing Albus Dumbledore now stood Severus Snape. His hair greasier and longer and his face more stone cold than she remembered.

"I'm afraid it's quite extensive," Harry added sarcastically before he glared at the new Headmaster, "How dare you stand where he stood?" He bellowed, "Tell them how it happened that night! Tell them how you looked him in the eye; a man who trusted you, and killed him. Tell them!"

Snape didn't say anything, instead he reached into his jet black robes and pulled his wand out. Students gasped as Professor McGonagall pushed Harry out of the way, leaving her standing face to face with the black haired man. Their wands pointed straight at each other.

The Order had all raised their wands that little bit higher, just in case Snape decided to start duelling. However, much to Hazel's surprise, McGonagall sent the first spell. Students gasped one again as a bright ball of fire emerged from her wand, Snape managed to easily block it before another spell was sent his way, once again by McGonagall.

Hazel's dark eyes watched her old Head of House cautiously as the woman threw more and more spells at the Headmaster of Hogwarts, he managed to block every single one of them. Two - Hazel assumed Death Eaters - standing behind Snape suddenly fell down from the impact of a spell ricochetting off of Snape. McGonagall finally stopped when Snape suddenly waved his wand around his body, turning into a black shadow he flew right out of the large windows, smashing them to pieces before disappearing from view.

"Coward!" A student yelled before the rest of them started cheering loudly.

"McGonagall is a badass," Hazel muttered under her breath, earning a low chuckle from her husband and father who overheard her comment. She watched with a proud smile on her face as McGonagall used her wand to light up the Great Hall, the cold feeling disappearing instantly.

However, that didn't last long as the Great Hall suddenly turned a grizzly dim colour once again and students began to clutch their heads, their face contorted in pain. Hazel shared a worried look with Remus before a sharp pain suddenly radiated through her skull. Her hands flew up to her temples as the sound of the ceiling above them thundering echoed throughout the hall.

A loud, shrill scream suddenly emerged from one of the corners of the Great Hall. Looking around, Hazel spotted a young blonde girl, her hands tightly pressed against her ears, her eyes shut as she screamed. Hazel felt the anxiety rushing back into her veins when suddenly another girl started screaming from the complete opposite side of the room.

"I know that many of you will want to fight," Voldemort's cold voice suddenly penetrated their ears, a low ringing sound was barely heard underneath his booming voice. Hazel pressed her hands against her head again as she suddenly began to feel dizzy and sick, "Some of you may even think to fight is wise. But this is folly. Give me Harry Potter. Do this and none of you shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall leave Hogwarts untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded. You have one hour."

The voice and pain suddenly disappeared. Hazel let out a shaky exhale as she tried to regain her balance, almost knocking into George's side; who instantly wrapped his arms around his wife, a worried look on his face.

The Great Hall became unnervingly quiet as everyone's eyes slowly turned towards Harry.

"What are you waiting for?" A female yelled. Hazel turned in the direction of the voice and spotted Pansy Parkinson pointing her long finger at Harry, "Someone grab him!"

Before any of the students could even step a foot towards the spectacled boy, Ginny Weasley pushed through the crowd and stood right besides him, glaring at the rest of the students who were looking at Harry as if was their prey. Hazel took in a deep breath before she moved George's hands off her, he looked confused for a moment before he spotted her walking straight over to Harry and Ginny, standing on Ginny's opposite side, her wand held out and she protected Harry with her own body.

Hermione was next to follow and before they even knew it, the rest of the Order as well as some older students joined in, creating a protective circle around Harry Potter.

"Students out of bed!" A voice yelled from outside of the Great Hall, "Students out of bed!" The voice got louder as the person neared the Great Hall and as soon as they ran in, Hazel recognised the figure as Filch, "Students out of bed."

"They're suppose to be out of bed, you blithering idiot!" McGonagall spat.

"Oh," Filch sighed, "Sorry, ma'am."

"As it happens, Mr. Filch. Your arrival is most opportune," McGonagall suddenly stated, walking over towards the caretaker, "If you would, I would like you please, to lead Miss. Parkinson and her whole friend group, from the hall," She gestured to Pansy.

"Exactly where is it I'll be leading 'em to, ma'am?" Filch inquired.

"The dungeons will do."
