"Yes, I remember it," replied Hannah.

"That's good. Now, listen to my version of that story."

Charlie's POV

It was a Saturday night and I had come to the club in search of my next victim. The loud music that blared through the speakers was sufficient to deafen me and the sight of drunken people grinding against each other was enough to make me sick. So I went to the farthest corner and sat down on one of the bar stools. It was then that I noticed you. You looked like you had come to the club alone. I tried to study you but your head was bent and I managed to see only your blonde hair. Then I ordered my drink with my eyes still fixated on you. Finally, you looked up. I passed you a smile but then you were back to staring at your drink. I made some silly joke and you started talking to me. But I had already realised that I had seen you somewhere. Then it struck me that you were a Youtuber. Woah!

But it was enough to make me realise that I couldn't kill you. People had seen you and me together. I couldn't risk that. You see, killing is the easy part but getting away with it without being caught is something difficult. I wasn't going down because of you. But then, you and I exchanged numbers. That's when I got an idea. I could do it some other time, maybe after winning your trust. But you were lucky every time. Every occasion that I tried to kill you, you were just so lucky! My knife would either miss you or you would bend and turn around. I had almost given up. But when I met your friends, I saw some potential. The potential to kill six birds with a stone. Usually, I never really planned much about my killings but I experienced thrill in waiting. Because I knew that a feast was awaiting me in the end. I planned and then I knew how and where to make it happen.

You see Hannah, this place is close to my heart. You know why? Because this is the place where I was awarded my first kill. That day, I named this place Camp Charlie. The story that I told you about this place, wasn't just a story. It was the truth. Except for the part where I said that some spirit haunts this place. The only thing that haunts this place is me and I'm not even dead.

Something was always missing though. It was missing thrill. I got bored of killing people with a knife or an axe. It was something that many had done before. What I wanted was something different, something new.

It was then that I wrote a book of my own. It was called 'Hundred ways to kill'. Funny, isn't it? I wrote about the rarest ways of killing. I researched about them. None of my victims died a similar death. It was something different all the time and that is why the police haven't been able to catch me. But another knowledge was really important to me. It was computer technology. I started learning about it and programming online. The college and universities that people take so much time to finish, I did all of that in three years. I could hack almost everything. That's when I set up this place. I explored these caves until I knew every bit of it. I got rooms and trap doors constructed so that no one could find me even if they managed to enter these caves. Of course, I had to kill the people who constructed this place for me. I wanted to be the only living person who knew about my secret hideout because the dead tell no tales.

This place or 'the Crypt' as I like to call it, was built because I knew that it was going to be useful and believe me when I tell you that it has indeed proven it's worth.

Hannah, for the first time in her life, was successful in controlling her tears. She did not want to give him the pleasure of seeing fear in her eyes and tears on her cheeks. She wanted to be strong for her friends, who according to her had died because of her naiveness and stupidity. Her whole body was filled with a whirlpool of emotions. Anger and sadness being the major ones. One part of her wanted to crawl into a corner and cry her heart out but another part of her wanted revenge. Revenge for what this man named Charlie had done to her friends. Her hands ached to do the same to him and that is why she sat quietly waiting for him to continue because she waiting for an opportunity. An opportunity to kill.

"So, tell me, Hannah. What would you like to hear first? How I killed your friends or how I killed all of my victims? Because you'll have to listen to both of them, whether you like it or not. The only thing that you get to decide is what to hear first."
