Song: Titanium by David Guetta ft. Sia
*****
"Hannah! How much more time do you need?"
Her hands clenched into fists but she answered him in her usual expressionless voice, "I'm coming."
She hid the knife inside her backpocket and untucked her shirt in such a way that even while tying her hands again he won't notice the knife. It was nothing but a miracle that he hadn't actually seen it before, when he had untied the ropes. It seemed that even the angels favoured her. After taking one last look in the mirror, she opened the door.On seeing her, Charile felt relieved. All that time she had spent in the restroom, he had been doing nothing but thinking about the ways in which she could've escaped. He was one of those people who considered every possibility. To them, nothing was impossible. Many would call them paranoid but I think they were actually more realistic than the so called practical people. Normally, a common man would see nothing wrong in a crowd of people but people like Charlie knew that this world was not all rainbows and sunshine.
Only when she came outside, he was sure that his next to perfect plan had no loopholes. He tied up her hands and led her back, then after making sure that she was comfortable, he tied her feet.
"There's no need for you to show any fake chivlary, I am well aware of your true colours," said Hannah as she saw him trying to make her comfortable by leaning her up against the wall. He snickered upon hearing her but didn't say anything, rather he continued with the story, knowing very well, that the only way to answer her was hurting her.I saw an opportunity the minute you started planning on going on a summer vacation. What better place to end something exactly where it started? I put it in your head that we should go camping and once you agreed, I knew that it won't be a difficult task for you to convince the others and I wasn't wrong. Everything went according to plan and we started the journey.
My plan was to make sure that all of you were asleep when we travelled, so that even if you discovered me you wouldn't be able to escape. When we stopped at a diner to have lunch. I added sleeping pills to your drinks. One by one, all of you fell asleep and the first phase of my plan was successful. When we reached the camp, you all never suspected a thing.
The same night I went to the hills, to reach my secret hideout. I blocked off the signals from your phones so that even if there was a some network coverage, your phone wouldn't be able to detect it. So that your families wouldn't suspect anything, I texted them everyday to let them know that you were fine. But guess what? I texted them using your numbers. I didn't exactly use your mobile phones, but I made sure that whenever they recieved those texts, it was your respective mobile numbers that their phones displayed.
One night, I suggested playing a game. The one in which we shared our darkest secrets, you remember it Hannah, don't you? My motive was to get something against you all, something you feared, so I had been recording everything you guys said. But the moment Rohan revealed his secret, I saw a chance to kill. You see Hannah, I had already known that he was gay because I had kept tabs on you all, but I never knew that he had hidden this even from his parents.
That night I sent him a text using an unknown number. It was nothing but a recording of his confession and a text which said, "If you don't want your parents to see this, then meet me outside your campsite."
As expected, he came outside and searched for me. I sent him another text which said - "You'll see white crosses on the trees, follow them." I had marked the trees using chalk which led him to the hills. When I revealed my face, he was stupified. I have a recording of the same, do you want to see it? There are hidden cameras all over this place and they act as a second pair of eyes for me, they see what no one else sees.
Hannah's downcast eyes were full of pain and she knew that he would show her the video even if she didn't want to see it. The sound of Rohan's voice woke her up from her thoughts. For a moment she forgot that he was dead and looked up with hopeful eyes, hoping to see him. But all she saw was a screen.
The video displayed two men, facing each other. Due to the shadows cast by the night, it was impossible to figure out that which one of them was Rohan, but she could hear his voice clearly. Suddenly, the clouds in the sky cleared up to reveal a full moon. The faces of the two men the videos became clear. It was then that she actually saw him.
"Alan! Why would you send me a text like this? You managed to scare the hell out of me," said Rohan with an annoyed look upon his face. But the moment his eyes landed on the knife that Alan was holding, it transformed into a state of confusion.
"Why are you carrying a knife?"
Alan, rather Charlie came nearer to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, then he answered him, "Because I want to kill you." As those words escaped his lips, he stabbed him in the stomach.
"No, please no!" The words left her mouth, before she could stop them. The mask of bravery and confidence that she had put on not so long ago, crumbled within seconds. She started screaming and crying at the same time.
When the knife first made contact with his body, Rohan's eyes widened with shock. His eyes stared at the wound and then they landed on him. The pain and the feeling of betrayal was so obvious.
"Why would you do that? We were supposed to be friends." His weak hands tried to grab him by the throat to choke him, but his last few breadths weren't enough.
"You were never a friend, just another victim." Charlie, grabbed his hands, threw them aside and then continued stabbing him. Then, he pushed his body away and he fell on to the ground, lifeless. He faced the camera, probably knowing where it was and then smiled at it with his bloody face clearly visible.

Okay, so enough of blabbering. Stay tuned to find out what happens next.
