Song: The Sound of Silence by Disturbed

Hannah's eyes were red from crying still, tears flowed from them. That image of Rohan lying lifeless on the ground haunted her. No matter what she did, she couldn't forget it. The minute she closed her eyes, the same scene replayed in her mind.

Charlie had been watching her closely without saying a word. He got up from his chair and grabbed a water bottle from a nearby table. When Hannah looked up, she saw him holding out the bottle to her. As he brought it closer to her lips, she turned her face away and shouted, "I don't want anything, just kill me already. I don't want to live any longer so, please, I beg you stop this already."

"No Hannah. You'll not die, at least not now." Her eyes closed and more tears made their way out of her eyes but her pleas remained consistent even with a cracked voice. "Please kill me."

Her continued narrating the events knowing that she'll listen.

My next target was Liam. When all of you wanted to go back fearing the absence of Rohan, I sent you a text using his mobile which said, "My mother was sick, so I had to leave."

Just as I had thought, Liam wanted to go back but Maya insisted on accompanying him. Then I thought, why not? They left for the highway to catch the five o clock bus. But I had lied again, there was never a bus service to this place. They waited for hours but it was not the bus that they saw, it was me.

It would've been very stupid of me if I had killed them near the highway. I never wanted to take any chances, so I went there and told them that the bus service was only available on Sundays. They were angry and wanted to go back to the city, so I told them that I would take them by car. I led them over to the hills and killed them using my knife, similar to the way I had killed Rohan. Do you want to see the footage?

"No, please no." Hannah, who had been crying all along had also been listening to him. She couldn't cover her ears as her hands were tied and she couldn't even try to think of something else when the person next to her was narrating the deaths of her friends.

"Fine."

She looked up with her eyes wide open, the shock obvious in them.

How could a demon like him show some mercy? I don't know how and neither did she. He turned away from her and continued with the story.

With only three of you left, I thought of playing a game. This time, it was the game of fear. In the first level, I had to shake your trust in the things and people around you. This was accomplished when I said that I had seen a corpse. All of you didn't trust me but I knew that this incident had awoken the conscious part of your brain. You all started distrusting me but at the same time, you weren't sure of the things that surrounded you.

The bloodstains on the willow's bark were there so that you could see them and you did. I told you not to tell Sarah and Ethan about it all but knowing you well, I knew that you couldn't hide anything from your dear friend. You told her everything that night. The only one who was unaware of the happenings was Ethan and that's why he became my next target. That night, I went to his room to ask for some aspirin. After inviting me inside, he started searching for the aspirin.

I hit him on the back of his head using a big stone and he fainted. Then, I transported him to the hills using a wooden cart that I had kept hidden in the bushes all this time. When I came back at dawn and noticed the dried bloodstain on the floor of his cabin, I got an idea.

I used a knife to get my blood by cutting the skin of my forearm. This blood was used to write my name on the wall but the alphabets were laterally inverted and only someone looking at the mirror behind, could've read them. This was done to confuse you and I completed the second level of this game of mine. The third level included the deaths of Ethan and Sarah.

When Sarah saw that blood, she was sure it was Ethan's. As interpreted beforehand by me, she went to the hills and asked you and me to go near the lake. This was my main motive behind showing you the lake. The only places that came to her head were the hills and that lake, both of them lying in the complete opposite directions. She had no choice but to send you with me and go all alone.

After searching the region around the lake which took about only fifteen minutes. We went back to the cabin and I went after our dear friend. I knew a shorter way to the hills and managed to reach just in time. She was trying to take him back when I stopped her and revealed my true identity. She was confused and hurt on hearing about the deaths of her friends just like you. But she wanted to save Ethan and you. So she threatened me by saying that she would tell everything to you.

I couldn't help but laugh at her stupidity knowing that her end was near. I took out my knife to stab her but Ethan came in the way and took the wound meant for her. He then fell off the hill taking her along. I must say that I wanted to kill her myself but it's okay. She's dead and that's what matters the most. I came back and scared you by banging on the door. When you came outside, a blow to your head did the job.

Hannah sat on the ground, almost lifeless. It seemed that the life inside of her had been sucked out and all that remained was a body. Her eyes had run out of tears and her cheeks were stiff from the dried tears on them. But there was something still alive in her and that was the need for revenge.
