After a few hours both Camille and Archer were starting to get tired, but since they were unsure of their surroundings they never stopped for more then 10 minutes at a time.
The twins are currently walking through a normal looking forest but for some reason, something feels off.
The forest looks rather welcoming, but it seems to be oddly silent.
"Archer, Listen." Camille says.
" Why? I don't hear anything." Archer replies.
" Exactly, it's quiet. Too quiet." She responds.
" Now that you mention it, I haven't heard anything other then footsteps for a while." Archer tells her.
" Don't you think it's a bit weird?" Camille asks.
" I mean, not really. It's probably nothing." He answers.
" Still, it's not normal for a forest to be silent." She informs Archer.
" I doubt it's anything to worry about Camille." He says.
" You're probably right." Camille says with a sigh, " Can we stop for a sec? I need to take a break."
" Sure" Archer replies, " I could use a break as well."
Camille and Archer stop walking to grab some food out of their bags. " Here." Camille says, handing Archer an apple.
" Thanks." He replies, taking the apple and biting into it.
They sit in silence for a few minutes until Camille hears something.
" Archer, do you hear that?" She asks.
" No, why?" He responds. Camille sighs and says, " Nevermind, I just thought that i heard something."
Archer takes a break from wolfing down his apple to say, " See? The forest isn't silent after all, you were worrying about nothing."
Camille and Archer's conversation is interrupted when they hear a twig snap. " Archer, was that you?" Camille asks, her eyes full of worry.
" No, I've just been standing here. You probably just stepped on something without realizing it." Archer responds, unbothered by his sister's observations.
"Archer, I'm sitting down." She tells him.
" Oh " He replies, "Then it was probably just a branch falling or something."
" No it wasn't, i'm pretty sure that i know what i heard."Camille argues.
" Camille, calm dow-" Archer is inturrupted mid-sentence when they hear approaching footsteps.
Camille and Archer whip around to face the direction that the footsteps came from.
" Archer?" Camille asks, her eyes wide with fear.
" It wasn't me." He replies.
" Then who was it?" Camille wonders.
" I don't know." Archer responds.
" Neither do i. What should we do?"
" I have an idea." Archer suggests.
They both share a look and say, " Run."
Camille and Archer take off running, but they can still hear footsteps close behind them.
" We can't keep on running for ever, we have to think of something." Camille sshouts so that Archer can hear her.
" And have you by any chance figured out what that something is?" Archer asks.
" Well, not exac-" Camille starts to say when she notices that the person who was chasing them appears to have caught up.
Before either of them can react, the person has blindfolded them and starts to drag them back in the direction that they came from.
