" I'm glad that you made the right choice." King Davis says, " We'l need to leave immediately but i'll make sure that your siblings leave here safely."

" Please don't do this, back out while you still can." Simone pleads, " There has to-"

" Stop with the begging, they've already made there choice and they aren't going to change their minds. Now we must be on our way, we have things to do and places to be." King Davis interrupts.

Simone stops talking, but doesn't hesitate to send King Davis a fiery glare before directing her attention to me and Noah. She sends us one more pleading look, but then turns back to where Archer is lying on the floor.

" Camille and Noah, follow me. We're going to go meet up with one of my closest and most loyal friends." King Davis says before  starting to walk towards one of the many doors in the room.

Noah hesitates for a moment, but then follows King Davis to the door. I send Simone a small smile before following behind Noah. I turn around and mouth, " We're going to be okay."

Simone looks at me like she doesn't think that's true, but she sends me a smile in return before  following King Davis into the hallway beyond the door.

After what seems like an eternity, but is probably only a few minutes, we reach the end of the hallway. There's a old wooden door that's illuminated by a torch sitting on the wall next to the door. King Davis takes a key out his pocket and unlocks the door, revealing a fairly well lit room with some grey couches and a table.

The room itself isn't that surprising, it's the person that's sitting on one of the couches that is.

" Albert?" I say, trying to figure out why he's here.

" What's my dad doing here?" Noah asks, " Did you make a deal with him as well?"

" I guess you could say that." King Davis tells us, " But Albert here came to me, begging me to let him join me and my army."

" I'm pretty sure we're talking about different people here, my dad has dedicated his life to stopping you and your ways." Noah argues.

" I've got to say, your dad is a much better actor then i originally thought. At first Albert thought that there really was a way to stop me, but it didn't take him long to realize that there isn't, so he came to me and asked to join the best side. My side." King Davis explains, " The only reason that your father wanted to beat me was so that he could live his life without having to worry about getting killed. When i offered him protection in exchange for some help, he eagerly agreed."

" I know my dad, he's not a traitor." Noah says.

" Well it appears that there's a lot you don't know about your dad, or life in general. " King Davis replies.

" I kno-" Noah starts to says before he's interrupted.

" Don't argue with him son, he speaks the truth." Albert says, getting up from the couch.

" What?!" Noah asks, sounding just, if not more, shocked as i am.

" I just wanted you and Simone to be happy, to grow up in a safe word, so when Samten made me an offer of protection i knew that it would be the perfect solution." Albert tells us.

" Really? You thought that me and Simone would be happy knowing that you lied to us for thirteen years? Because i've got to say, i'm anything but happy right now. I just found out that my dad is a liar and a traitor who couldn't even admit the truth to us himself. No, we had to find out the truth from the enemy. And you don't even look one bit guilty right now, if i didn't know better then i'd think that you were pleased by how this is playing out." Noah rants.

" Listen son, i only did what was best for us." Albert says.

" Us? I'm pretty sure that you mean you. 'Cause to me it seems like you did all of this for your own selfish reasons. If you truly wanted what was best for me and Simone, then you would've never lied to us or pretended to be someone that your not. Sure, you might've told us some things that were true but as Benjamin Franklin said, " Half a truth is often a great lie."" Noah continues.

" Noah, jus-"Albert starts

" As much as i love a good good argument, i have plans involving Noah and Camille that need to be carried out as soon as possible." King Davis interrupts, " Camille and Noah, follow me. We need to start with your training immediately."

" Sir? How do you know that their not going to turn against you?" Albert asks.

" Because i won't hesitate to slit one of their siblings throats if they do." Samten responds.

" You told us that you were going to let Archer and Simone go." I say.

" If you ever believed that lie, then you are clearly a lot more naive then i thought." King Davis tells me with a chuckle, " I thought that i taught you to never trust the enemy."

I really want to say something about how he never taught us anything because the only time he bothered to talk to us was when he came up with some new insults, but i refrain myself from doing so because i know he won't hesitate to hurt Simone or Archer.

" Follow Albert, he's going to take you to your room. Remember that even when it may not seem like it, someone is watching you. So don't try to pull anything stupid." Samten reminds us.

Me and Noah just nod our heads in response and follow Albert into another hallway that brings us to our room. Our new room is basically just a bunk bed pressed up against the wall, a empty dresser, a tabe with two chairs, and a door that probably leads to the bathroom. I have a feeling that this room is all we're going to be seeing for the next week or two, so i might as well postpone any attempts at escape. Oh boy, this is gonna be a long couple of weeks.
