Part 45: Finally Get To See Her (Part 3).

[Still] ~ Tae's Pov:

Now that I'm alone with my wife I sit next to her and I continue to hold her hand as I look at her sleep so peacefully.

-A Few Minutes Later-

The longer I sit here and watch her sleep the more I realize it's getting late and I'm getting sleepy.

As this is going through my mind I gently lay my head down on the side of her bed as I continue to hold her hand.

But as I'm about to close my eyes I hear the curtains open and the sliding glass door open.

Which instantly gets my attention and I lift my head to look at the sliding glass door.

As I'm looking at the sliding glass door I see the nurse and an unfamiliar figure who must be the surgeon.

Because the nurse said she was going to come back in a few with the surgeon so I'm guessing this unfamiliar male figure is the surgeon.

While this is going through my mind I hear an unfamiliar voice that gets my attention.

Kevin (The Surgeon): "Hi you must be Mr. Taehyung right?"

Tae: "Yes I am and who are you?"

Kevin (The Surgeon): "My name is Kevin I am the surgeon that was working on your wife."

Tae: "How did the surgery go?"

Kevin (The Surgeon): "It went really well."

Tae: "Did you find anything?"

Kevin (The Surgeon): I found a bullet in her neck."

Tae: "Was you able to get it out?"

Kevin (The Surgeon): "Yes I was and whoever did this to her wanted her dead. Because the bullet was almost close enough to hit a nerve in her neck and if that would've happened I would've been able to get the bullet out and save her in time."

Tae: "I'm glad you was able to save her I don't know what I would do without her."

As I'm saying this I look at her as she lays in this hospital bed and continues to sleep.

While I'm watching her sleep I feel tears leaving my eyes as I look at her but I quickly wipe them away.

As I'm wiping my tears away I put my attention back on the surgeon to see if he has anything else to tell me.

Tae: "Is there anything you need to tell me I would like to spend time with my wife."

Kevin (The Surgeon): "You have nothing to worry about I got the bullet out she is going to be fine."

Tae: "Thank you for saving her life I don't know what I would do without her especially since we just got married and she's having my child."

Kevin (The Surgeon): "So today was a very special day for the two of you."

Tae: "Yeah it was but it didn't go how we wanted today has just been the worst day of my life and I hate saying that because today was our wedding day and it was suppose to be the best day of our life but it turned out to be the worst day of my life."
