CHAPTER FIVE

You wore your new superhero suit and flew off the fire escape. As the young hero flew over the New York skylines. You flew around to search for any trouble while also helping some folks like an old woman crossing the street, helping a little girl get her cat stuck in the tree. It was pretty fun doing some small things yet they matter to you the most.

Thanks to your superhuman hearing, you heard screams of people and quickly flew to the direction of where the source was and saw a speeding train that wasn't gonna stop any second now. You used your heat vision to split the train up as the cart behind slow down while front was speeding up. You flew into the front as you saw it was now heading to an unfinished track you planted your heel and pushed your palm in front to slow the train as it only gain a little effort.

Just then Spider-Man jumped in front of the train and attached webs on each side to the nearby buildings to lower the speed and you smiled when you finally got help. The train had stop just in time before it fell and everyone cheered when the two heroes had save everyone again.

"You're late. But thanks by the way." You said as you offer your hand to the hero.

Spider-Man look at your hand and shook it, "Don't mention it. Still, I came didn't I?"

"Yeah, I couldn't do anything without you." You said.

"I'm glad that you were there or else many will die because I was too late." Spider-Man said, dejectively.

"It's cool. We make a good team." You said as the two were now sitting on top of the tallest building.

"Yeah, how about this. Why don't we become partners?" Spider-Man asked.

"Sure. I really need someone whose experience since I recently had started this thing." You replied.

The two of you hop down and Spider-Man shot out a web and swing through the skylines while you flew besides him. The two of you did many things, stopping a bike thief. Helping a woman for directions and bought you churros. You stop a ten ton truck from hitting a blind old woman while Spider-Man help her cross the street.

The funniest thing that happened is that the two of you thought that the guy was gonna steal a car and all the neighbors shout at you because he owns the car and caused the two of you to leave.

"That was fun." You chuckled while eating a sandwich.

"Yeah, it was." He agreed. You were only able to see half of his face which caused you to be curious of who he really was.

But then all of yours sense went haywire as the two of you snap your heads when the local ATM was getting robbed and so the two of you went there and made sure to go inside quietly. You did a Ryu fighting pose from Street Fighter.

"Wassup, guys." Spider-Man greeted causing the robbers snap their heads towards the two of you. "Wait a minute, you guys aren't the real Avengers."

The guy with the Iron Man mask tried to punch him but you block it by catching his fist and punch him instead. Spider-Man kicked 'Thor' away while you bended down to evade and kicked 'Hulk' guts and when Spider-Man tried to jump at 'Captain America' he activated a Chitauri weapon that made you widen your eyes when it made him levitate off the ground and be thrown to the wall in which you evaded.

You slid down and kicked him by the legs causing him to fell on the floor when suddenly a weapon exploded and you immediately pushed Spider-Man down and the blast sliced from the ATM to the bodega just across the street causing the both of yours eyes widened. As you immediately flew towards with Spider-Man behind calling out of the owner, Mr. Delmar.

Luckily, the man was not injured and was coughing due to the smoke while Spider-Man got the cat. You two look at the ATM and the robbers were gone. You suddenly felt curious of who would have those kind of weapons.

You and Spider-Man said your goodbyes and separated ways. You flew back in your apartment and plop down on your bed. Today was a tiring day.
