CHAPTER EIGHT

You flew besides Peter as the two went to the direction of the explosion was and  you see a van under a bridge. Peter stuck on a support structure of the bridge and hid behind it while you were behind him. The man had some kind of weapon left by the Chitauri and suddenly, Peter jump down which caused you to go wide eyes when he was hit by an energy blast. You used your wind breath that had thrown back the man that had attack him inside the van and helped Peter up.

"What was that?" Peter groaned.

"A weapon made from the Chitauri attack on New York on 2012." You said when suddenly the Van started it's engine and you didn't see that the man had charged up another attack and hit you causing you to sent flying a good few yards away from them.

"Shit!" You groaned in pain, "That thing sure hurts!" You stood up and saw them gone, you used your Superhuman hearing and heard Peter groaning in pain.

(Y/N) immediately skyrocketed into the air and went after where Peter would be at thanks to his superhuman hearing. You saw something unfamiliar flew out of the van and it had large robotic wings that reminds you of Sam Wilson with and that thing had something and using your telescopic vision, you saw Peter dangling. You immediately flew there with speed but the man saw you and drop Peter. You used your wind breath which caused him to be sent backwards and dive down for Peter, hugging him as you both crashed into the water.

Iron Man came and swoop you two up from the water and put you two safely on the ground, Peter took off his mask and twisted it. You didn't mind about the coldness since your immune to intense heat and cold.

You listened to Peter's rambling as Tony explained that there is a heater on the suit which dries off automatically and yours as well. You thanked Tony but kinda winced when he scold you both - well, mostly Peter though - you don't want to argue with Tony and never wanna pick sides but Peter was right. If anyone aren't gonna stop those guys then you or/and Peter could.

"(Y/N), do me a favor and please don't put yourself in danger." Tony said, almost pleaded.

"Sure, Tony." You nodded and he flew away since he had disconnected or no longer online.

"You wanna fly?" You asked Peter.

"You gonna drop me?" Peter asked back, playfully.

"In your nightmares, though." You retorted but then his phone ring. You heard something on the other line which made your blood boil in immense anger.

When I say 'Penis', you say 'Parker'. "Penis!", "Parker!", "Penis!", "Parker!"

"Sorry, Peter. I guess we're still losers. I'll see you tomorrow?"

"I'll see you tomorrow in school." Peter hung off and look at you.

"Come on, Pete. Let's go home." You outstretched your hand for him and he took it.

He didn't took your hand and walked pass through you and then you watched him picked a Chitauri energy bomb which caused your eyes to widened.

"Do not pick that up." You warned.

"Why?"

"That's fricking alien bomb, Peter!"

"What?!"

You started explaining to him and then he promised to throw it in the water and you believed but when you turn around, he had hid it and the two of you went home with you carrying Peter and flying back to the apartment, of course.

Two days prior to what happened, the Decathlon team was ready for Washington and you were chatting with MJ and Willa. You lazily grin at one of Willa's jokes and then Axel came.

"Hey, Axe." You greeted the platinum blonde.

"Hey, (Y/N)." He greeted back.

"Axel, what's that on your neck?" Willa pointed a finger on the right side of his neck that had purplish bruise. Liz and everyone on the Decathlon turned their attention to the four of you.

"Oh! I-It's a m-mosquito bite!" He said, stuttering and the slight race of heart beat told it away that he's lying.

Harry came with his Decathlon jacket on his shoulder, "Hey, guys." He waved

"Hi, mosquito." MJ greeted with a small smile, already knowing which 'mosquito' had 'bitten' Axel.

Harry let out a confused face on why MJ would call her that and you bursted out laughing along with Willa as Liz's face scrunched in disgust.

"Oh my gosh, seriously? Harry?" Liz pointed at the brunette then at the platinum blonde.

Harry and Axel blushed because their secret was found out. Peter came with Ned along that caused you to smile. Mr. Harrington came with a smile.

"Hey, welcome back Peter! Flash, you're back in first alternate."

"What?"

Needless to say, you are happy that Peter was back on to the team but then this kinda had made you curious that why would Peter will come back to the team?
