CHAPTER TEN

The next morning, Peter was gone and this made you curious but then it struck you that he must be after the bad guys again. You rake a hand through your luscious (H/C) locks and sighed. Peter sure knows not to give up when there is trouble and want to prove to Tony that he can do big things. Those are things that you admired about him, his bravery to stand up and the passion to drive away evil.

But sometimes it irked you of how stubborn he could be but that's a part of his charms. Your thoughts were snapped when all of your team were now in the Washinton monument.

"You guys, I'm so proud of you." Mr. Harrington said as all of team were cheering.

"I told you we didn't Parker." Flash said, cockily.

"You didn't even answer a single question." You rolled your eyes. Jeez, this guy has a big ego.

"I'm so surprised that we won the competition." Axel said as he snapped photos with his camera with Harry besides him.

"I wonder why Peter was sick though?" Harry questioned as he slings an arm around Axel's shoulders.

"Ugh, PDA is the worst." You gagged as Willa laugh at your remark.

Everyone started walking inside but MJ stayed behind and you know why because you also knew that the monument was built by slaves. You followed Willa who was chatting with Ned. You snickered when you heard the conversation Mr. Harrington and MJ had.

"Taking it alk in, Michelle?"

"Oh, yeah. I don't wanna celebrate something that was built by slaves."

"I'm sure the Washington monument wasn't built by...." The teacher face turned defeated when MJ's stated that it was true. "Okay..."

"Oh, Ned. You're alive." You heard Peter's voice on the call which caused you to grab it.

"Peter, where are you?" You asked.

"I'm okay, (Y/N). I'm coming back. Can you please pass the phone to Ned?" You handed back the phone to Ned and went outside of the monument.

You look around while using your telescopic vision and spotted Peter in his Spider-Man suit and was running towards you guys. You were about to run towards him also but then something exploded which caused your heard to snap up. Using Infrared vision, you saw your team stuck in the elevator and saw a Chitauri energy bomb. Peter must've hid it when you weren't looking that night.

"My friends are in there!" MJ exclaimed to Spider-Man.

"What?! I mean, don't worry Miss." Spider-Man and started climbing the monument.

You realized that you also brought your suit by accident and then you look around and saw a restroom. You pulled on your hoodie and dashed inside the restroom. After wearing your suit, you dashed outside and saw Peter plummeting to the glass causing him to go inside. You followed suit and helped him at pulling the elevator up.

"Superboy? Spider-Man?" Willa said in awe along with Liz and Ned started cheering.

"Hey, big guy! Stop moving around!"

"Sorry, sir."

They started leaving the elevator one by one and when Liz was the last one to leave. Peter jumped and shot a web at the elevator to stop it from falling. You immediately swoop down and picked Liz up and Peter had let go of the elevator. You put Liz down with his friends.

"Thank you." Liz said.

"No problem, miss. We were just doing our job." You smiled.

"Are you friends with Peter Parker?"

"Yes, we are." Spider-Man nodded and his webs snapped causing him to fall. You swoop down as the class watched you two disappear while going down.

"And then Superboy came and picked me up." Liz gushed of what happened weeks prior in Washington.

"Wow, you're one lucky gal." You smiled as you continued to eat your jello.

"I know right? He's so handsome." Liz continued to tell her stories about at Washington.

You spotted Peter with Ned and Harry while Axel and MJ were with them also. You stood up and said goodbye to them, walking towards them.

"Hey, (Y/N)." Ned smiled.

"Yo." You sat down across them.

You were all filled with laughter and jokes and there were moments where you and Peter would stare at each other which caused him to be flustered and turned away. This make your day to be very exciting.
