Chapter 19

It is early in the morning and Emil wakes up looking for Lora, he hear her crying in the bathroom so he goes inside to check up on her. "Lora? why are you crying is something wrong?" Emil asked. "A... a monster i... is coming for me you gotta help me!" Lora said. "What do you mean?" Emil asked. "My surroundings kee... keeps turning into a weird digital version of our world" Lora explained. "When did this all start?" Emil said. Lora doesn't say a word so Emil just comforts her, after they finish breakfast Emil said he could just stay at home if she wants to, Lora refuses and says he needs to go to work. Emil arrives at Star Creations and once he entered the building he was greeted by Noah. "Hey... Emil" Noah greeted. "Noah! you're back!" Emil greeted happily. "Yea.. I'm sorry I could call you back I need some time to recover but hey I'm back" Noah said. Camille approaches them both. "Hi Emil how are you today?" Camille greeted. "Oh uh.. I'm fine thank you, I forgot you start working today" Emil said. "Yea, and who's this?" Camille asked. "Oh he's my friend Noah, Noah this is Camille a new employee she works as a bug tester" Emil said. "Oh, Hi I'm Noah I work as a game designer it's nice to meet you" Noah smiled and greeted Camille. Camille leaves to resume her work and the two goes to work.

While everyone is on break Emil decided to stay and continue what he's doing, he falls asleep and his computer starts glitching and then sucks him inside the monitor, Emil wakes up in a digital version of their world the same one as what he saw in his dream before and what Lora told him earlier, he thinks it is just a dream just like last time but the monster stands tall behind him and hits him, Emil tries to run a way from it he hits a dead end he doesn't know what to do, a surge of lighting appears behind him and sucks him out of the digital world and back to his office and wakes up. "Arghh! my back hurts.. was it all a dream or was it all real?" he questioned himself. Noah comes in and asks him to join him for lunch Emil agrees and comes with him. "Noah before you came in I fell asleep and had a dream.." Emil said. "Sleeping at work? you're lucky I was the one that came in or else you're fired" Noah said jokingly. "No listen, I was inside the computer, it looked like our world but different there was a monster there it hit me and it felt so real, do you think what happened to me was real?" Emil asked. "Well dreams are weird and it's probably just because you're sleeping position is why your back hurts" Noah said. "Maybe you're right" Emil agreed. They finish eating and continued their job and the day ended.

Emil comes home to Lora once again crying in fear. "Did you see the monster again?" Emil asked. "Yes! I saw it and..." Lora answered. "And what?" Emil asked. "I saw you!" Lora replied.
