The Corrupted One

Chapter 20

"So... what do you mean you saw me in one of your "visions" " Emil asked. "When everything turned digital again I tried to leave the house and once I step out I saw you running through our neighborhood being chased by it" Lora explained. "If she saw me then what happened wasn't a dream and her "visions" aren't just visions she can see the inside the digital world" Emil in his thoughts. "Ok, I'll make dinner so we both can rest, we both had a rough day don't we?" Emil said. Emil prepares dinner and eats with Lora after they finish they went to bed and slept.

The next day Emil took a day off to watch over Lora and keep her safe, while showering Lora has another one of her so called "visions" she just stays there and closes her eyes and covers her ears, Emil hears her crying so he went in the bathroom and tries to talk to comfort her. "Hey hey hey Lora it's me Emil it's ok I'm here" Emil said calmly. After Lora finishes dressing up Emil comforts her. "Lora I need to ask you something, when did this all start?" Emil asked. "Umm... a few days after that night..." Lora answered. "Hmm.. I think there is still something you aren't telling me, come on it's fine tell me" Emil questioned. "Fine... back when I was kidnapped, the Corrupted Ones conducted an experiment on me I was blindfolded so I couldn't see what's happening but then I feel like my hand were free I removed the blindfold and saw a monster" Lora said. "A monster? you mean the same one as the one appearing in your visions?" Emil asked. "Yes..." Lora replied. "What was it doing?" Emil asked. "There were 4 other people in there 2 of them were killed when I got out of the digital world" Lora said. "Why are you telling this now?!?" Emil said. "I- I am sorry, they told me to keep my mouth shut about it I was so afraid what they will do to me" Lora explained.

Meanwhile at work it is currently break time Camille sneaks in Emil's workplace. Camille goes to Emily's PC to check on something she leaves immediately so no one catches her, she leaves with a grin on her face. Noah come across her and tries to greet her but she quickly avoid him, Noah starts to get suspicious but decided not to investigate. Back at Emil and Lora's house Emil tells his conclusion on Lora's "visions". "Remember yesterday when you saw me on your visions?" Emil asked. "Yes, why?" Lora replied. "While at work I fell asleep and ended up inside the digital world where the monster was trying to attacked me" Emil said. "Wait so-" Lora gets cut off by Emil. "Yes your visions are real you are able to see inside the digital world and I think there is still more to this digital world we're experiencing, we need to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible" Emil said.
