Chapter 14

It is early in the morning Emil wakes up to a call from Noah, he picks it up. "Hello? Noah why are you calling this early on the morning?" Emil asked. "I am here at the police department they have Viktor" Noah answered. "Wait for me there im coming" Emil said. He gets up his bed and gets ready for today, he drives to the police department and meets up with Noah. "Has Viktor said anything yet?" Emil asked. "Unfortunately not yet, poor guy he was beaten up by a group of people, hes traumatized" Noah said. "We should go inside to talk to him" Emil said. They both went inside to talk to Viktor. "Viktor! Who did this to you?!" Emil said. "A- am i safe?! Am i?!?" Viktor asked. "Yes you are safe your are gonna be protected by the police" Emil said calmly. "I- its them, you gotta help me get a away from them i can't stay here for too long, they will find a way, they always do" Viktor said terrified. Emil left the room. "Did you get any information out of him?" Noah asked. "No, but he did said they will always find a way, but he didn't say a way to what" Emil said. "Maybe to hurt him, who knows" Noah said. They both went their separate ways.

Emil arrives at the hospital to stay with his fiancee. "Hey honey" Emil greeted. "Hi, any news about Viktor?" Lora asked. "The police has him, we talked to him but he doesn't seem to know anything" Emil said. "Where did they find him?" Lora asked. "They found him in an alleyway, poor guy was beaten up" Emil said. "Well atleast he wasn't paralyzed" Lora said. "The Doctor said i can go back home in a few days" Lora added. "Well then i'll have to make a surprise for you" Emil said. "I'll be expecting for it" Lora said. Lora eats the food that Emil bought her from her favorite restaurant, Emil was wondering around the hospital and saw a hooded man approaching him, he continues to walk and as he looks back the man glitches and multiply, he starts to walk faster and so does the hooded men following him, he made a run from hit while looking back he doesn't notice the wall infront of him, as he is about to hit the wall he phased through it, Emil was confused but atleast the men following him are gone he looks up and see a monster and other people shouting "RUUUN I'TS THE CORRUPTED ONE!" as they get killed one by one until Emil is the only one left. The monster looked at him about to smash him into pieces until... Lora wakes him up from his nightmare.

"Ok tell me about your nightmare" Lora said. "I- I was walking around in the hospital hallway when i saw a man a- a hooded man, he keeps glitching and then multiplies, he doesn't stop multiplying" Emil said. "How about the other part you mentioned about phasing into something?" Lora asked. "After that i ran while looking back i didn't notice the wall until i almost hit it but i phased through it, i saw a monster like virus killing people" Emil said. "Do you recognize them?" Lora asked. "No, never have i seen them in my life but something in my head saying im very close to them" Emil said. "Must be a metaphor of some sort" Lora added. "Well if it is i must know what it means, its like giving me hints for whats to come i need to be prepared" Emil said worried about what is gonna happen to him and the people he cares about.
