Chapter 26

Emil and the others arrived at Michael's door step he knocks a man saying "Coming" can be heard from the inside the door opens and they were surprised who opened the door. "You... you're the nice man who helped us get to the gas station!" Emil said. "Yes it is me what a coincidence, by the way what brings you three here?" The man said. "Are you Michael Davis?" Lora asked. "Oh no i'm not, i'm actually his son Harvey Davis" the man said. "I heard he lives alone" Noah said. "He does i just got here a week ago to take care of him because he is not feeling well" Harvey replied. "Harvey who's there?" a man said coming from inside the house. A man walks towards them. "Oh you must be Mr. Davis" Lora said. "Harvey why didn't tell me we had guests, come in" Mr. Davis said.

They all went to the living room to have a chat. "So where did you three come from?" Mr. Davis asked. "We are from Arizona" Emil answered. "Why are you three looking for an old man like me?" Mr. Davis asked. "We were looking for you because we have a few questions that you might be able to answer, if you don't mind" Lora replied. "Oh if so let's save those questions for later, you must be exhausted from travelling all the way here just for me, why don't you three rest first while my son prepare food for us" Mr. Davis kindly offered. "That would be great, thank you Mr. Davis" Noah said.

A few hours passes...

"Dinner is ready!" Harvey informed. Harvey served them dinner and they thanked him, Harvey receives a call from someone. "I'm gonna go answer this important call you can start without me i'll be back" Harvey said and went outside. "Let's dine in then" Mr Davis said. "Excuse me for a bit i need to use the comfort room' Noah said. As he was on his way to the restroom he overhears Harvey and the person on the phone's conversation. "Are they there" the woman from the phone said. "Yes, they are here eating" Harvey answered. "Have they asked it yet?" the woamns asked. "No, not yet" Harvey replied. "Do anything you can to stop them" the woman ordered. Noah carefully walks back and accidentally hit something. "What was that noise?" Harvey said. "What's what? Hey! was someone listening to our conversation?!?" the woman exclaimed. Noah quickly flees quietly to the bathroom to not get seen, Harvey checks inside and saw no one. "I should tell the others..." Noah said to himself. He comes back from the bathroom and went back to the dining room soon after Harvey also comes back to eat. "Are you two married?" Mr. Davis asked Emil and Lora. "Oh, not yet but we are about to! would you like an invitation for our wedding?" Emil replied. "I would love to! but i don't i can" Mr. Davis answered. "How's the food?" Harvey asked. "I... it's fine" Noah answered trying to avoid eye contact. "I think it's the right time to ask you-" Lora said as she gets cut off. "I think we should finish dinner first" Harvey interrupted. "Uhh... sure" Lora said.

After they had dinner Emil tries to ask Mr. Davis about what happened in the experiment. "Mr. Davis i would like you to ask about what happened while you were being experimented on" Emil said. "The experiment... i never knew what happened that day and how i got there, but there is one thung I'm sure of... it's real..." Mr. Davis said. "Can you tell us more about it? Lora was also a victim and she has been having visions about a monster are you having the same?" Emil asked. "Yes... a big scary monster..." Mr. Davis answered nervously. "I wanted to move on, but it haunts me i can't seem to get away from it... no... NO! NOT AGAIN!" Mr. Davis shouted. "Mr. Davis? MR. DAVIS?! ARE YOU OKAY?" Emil asked. "DAD?! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BROUGHT THAT QUESTION UP!" Harvey shouted at Emil. "I... i... I'm sorry i didn't mean to..." Emil said as he gets cut off. "LEAVE! LEAVE THIS HOUSE NOW!" Harvey shouted at him. After what happened the three left Mr. Davis's house and drove to the nearest motel to rest.
