The Corrupted One

Chapter 23

"Hello... Emil" a deep feint voice can be heard. "Huh, what? who are you and where am I?" Emil questioned while trying to look for where the voice came from. "Look behind you!" a woman shouted. Emil turns around to see the monster grinning at him. "Hey Emil, Emil, EMIL!" Noah shouted trying to wake Emil up. Emil wakes up in fear of seeing the monster. "Sleeping at work again?" Noah said. "I... I saw the it again i was in the digital world again" Emil explained. "But you were here" Noah said. "Wait really?" Emil asked. "Yea, you were here the whole time" Noah said. "This is weird we should go home now" Emil replied.

The next day, while Emil is working he is secretly researching about people falling asleep and going inside computers he find nothing so he searched deeper into the internet and found an article about your consciousness transferring inside the computer he saved the URL to learn more about the article and continued on his job. Lunch time Emil went to the cafeteria to meet with Noah to show him the article that he found, while no one is in the work station Emil's PC glitches, a few minutes later Emil and Noah arrives to Emil's work station. Emil opens the notepad on his computer and finds the saved URL missing, he got confused. "I could've sworn I saved the URL here" Emil explained. "Let's do this again sometime let's just eat I'm hungry" Noah suggested. After Emil gets home he quickly researched the same article from before while Lora is cooking for dinner, after he found it he wrote the URL on a piece of paper to make sure not to lose it. The next day aince Emil has no work today he and Lora met up with Noah in a café to discuss some things. "Oh Noah you're here!" Lora greeted. "So what do you guys wanna talk about?" Noah asked. "Let's go in side first" Emil said. They all went inside and looked for a seat. "Do you guys want any drinks or foods?" Lora asked. "I'll just have a cup of cappuccino" Noah said. "How about you Emil?" Lora asked. "I'm fine thank you" Emil said. "So what's this meeting about?" Noah asked. "Yesterday I told you I found an article about going inside computers right?" Emil asked. "Yeah" Noah answered. "I spent a few hours last night trying to find it again, I have wrote it down on my notes and in a piece of paper incase I lose it" Emil said. "Then let's check the article then" Noah suggested. "Here's your cappuccino Noah" Lora said. "Thank you very much Lora" Noah appreciated. Emil opens up the article and reads it for them.

"A man named Michael Davis that was saved from a corrupt organization claims that he was experimented on along with 5 other people, he said that they entered inside a computer and a monster was in there and saw 3 people get killed by it, but we all know that is impossible...". "That isn't just some corrupt organization, it's the Corrupted Order... I was one of those 5 people that he mentioned!" Lora explained. "Then all of this leads back to the Corrupted Order then, we must find where Michael is" Emil said.
