Chapter 10: What's Going On??

*Aika's POV*

the moment that I step outside of the car, I immediately run inside the school and run towards my class which is ms. Foxx subject. I burst the door open and in an instant all eyes are on me, kathy and cherry's grinning at me.

"I'M SO SORRY I'M LATE MS!!" I yell on top of my lungs making the class laugh out loud and I think I heard jaica giggled

"glad you can join us ms. Black, please take a seat" ms. Foxx said coldly

I then took my seat that is next beside Jaica while trying to catch my breath.

The class ended 30 minutes ago and here I am in detention for being late and for yelling. I've been in detention for 15 minutes now and I'm starting to get more and more worried about Sarah. what if she'll hate me?? what if she get mad at me? ughhhh I shouldn't left her there.

"ms. black, well you please tell me why are you absent for two days??" ms. Foxx ask me while still looking at her laptop

"Ms, I was busy with some family issues and I was sick, that is why I'm absent"

"Why didn't you send some excuse letter then??"

"I forgot Ms, I'm really sorry it won't happen again" I quickly shut my mouth after that not wanting more punishment

" it better not be ms. black" she said and then go back to what she's doing

There's no conversation after that while I was busy thinking about what's happening back at the mansion the door suddenly open and a student came inside then sit two seats before me. I was so caught up on what I was thinking that I didn't feel the tension inside the room and the intense glares that is being exchanged between the two people inside the room with me . when I look up I saw Ms. Foxx and Jaica glaring at each other.

"uhh what's going on?" I ask quietly making the two of them look at me

"didn't know your here shorty" jaica talk first using that nickname she gave me that I hate so much

"hey I am not short your just taller than me by a few inches!" I yell at her which she answered with a smirk

"ha! now it's my fault that I'm tall" jaica answered and face me completely smiling making me blush goodness

"will you two please keep quiet!" ms. Foxx yell suddenly making jaica smirk triumphantly, what the hell is going on?!

My energy is all drained up the moment that the detention was done. what I don't understand is that, why does ms. Foxx and Jaica keep trying to get my attention the whole session?? ughh they better not be in it again tomorrow.

I am now at the cafeteria sitting in the opposite chair of kathy and cherry, the both of them got more closer and they both look at each other funny, guess the two of them finally hit it off, my thoughts were interrupted when my phone start ringing.

"hello?"

"ms. aika I'm really sorry for disturbing you but there's a problem here"

"it's alright yaya what's the problem?"

"it's ms. Sarah, she won't eat and she lock herself up in the playroom, she keeps crying looking for you ms. and it's almost 12:30" yaya esme said worriedly

"what?! ughh can you give the phone to her then? say that it's aika" I said through the phone,

"ms. Sarah someone wanted to talk to you"

"NO!!!!" I hear Sarah on the background her voice  trembling

"it's ms. Aika" but Sarah didn't budge

"put it on speaker please, Pumpkin?? it's me, can you come out there and eat your lunch??"

"aika?? is-is that you??" Sarah quietly ask and hear the door open

"yes, it's me"

"you left me....... I hate you!"Sarah yell making me pull the phone away from my ears

"I'm sorry but I will make it up to you I promise, so why don't you eat your lunch first??"

"I don't wanna, I wanna eat with you" Sarah practically beg, If i was there she would probably gave me those puppy eyes

"pumpkin please, I promise I'll buy you anything you want"

" really? you'll buy me anything?"

"yes I will, now will you eat your lunch now and be good for yaya esme?"

"okay, but on one condition"

"what condition?"

"you have ta tuck me in and kiss me goodnight"she said in a demanding tone

"uhh sure yeah I-I can do that, I uhhh I guess"

"okay, I'll eat my lunch now and drink my medicine"

"okay bye now, be good okay?"

"okay, bye luv u"she barely whispered

as she said those words my heart beat fast and it felt like I'm gonna explode no Aika, Sarah don't mean that she has amnesia and all of this is only temporary, you can't fall in love with her

"okay bye now take care" I quickly end the call and put my phone down when I was sure that my breathing is back to normal, I feel eyes on me.

I look up and saw kathy and cherry looking at me then to my phone then at my back when I follow their gaze I saw ms. Foxx looking at me like shes gonna kill me, was it me or was it the caller? I then look at the other end where jaica is sitting alone glaring at me.

"what?"I manage to ask them

"what? you just had a lovey dovey conversation with a secret caller and your asking us what?!" cherry ask me with her dramatic voice

"uhh it's just my friend" I quickly reason out and tried to eat my lunch quietly but kathy and cherry keep bugging me

"aww come on tell us"cherry whined and start playing with her food while kathy roll her eyes at cherry then look at me in the eyes making uncomfortable ughh I hate it when she sees through me

"so whose the lucky girl hmm??"

"it's no one kathy and shes not my girl, shes just my friend" I then resume on eating my lunch

"Hah! Aika has a girlfriend!!" cherry said way too loud making all the cafeteria look at our way then go back to their business but I suddenly feel an intense glare

"so uhh you got a new girl?"Jaica suddenly came out of  nowhere and ask me right in my face

"she's not my girl, she doesn't even know I like her"i mumbled and look anywhere other than jaica

ughh if looks could kill I will be six feet underground and besides why is she interested in me anyway, it's not that we're friends or something. ughhh why can't just this day end already. I want to go home and eat ice cream with Sarah.........
