Hayley made herself right at home, eating and conversing with guests. No one actually wanted her there. I knew I was going to regret this, but I called her over to me. I needed to figure out what was going on in her head.

"Hayley, tell me. How far along are you?"
"Oh, uhm, about 8 weeks?" She had this unidentifiable look on her face. Shame, maybe.
"Really, cause 9 weeks ago, we were in the process of moving, and Vic never left my side. So, how did you manage to get pregnant by him then?" I smiled, thinking back to him not allowing me to move anything since I found out I was pregnant. He told me that I was too fragile to move boxes, or really do anything alone.
"He didn't tell you? Oh, man. He left you one night, about 2 am, headed to my place and fucked me senseless." She was really trying me.
I laughed, "Really, do you remember the date by chance? Cause we've been pretty busy." I asked, trying to catch her in a lie.

She sat there, still, for a moment. She was pretty witty, so the fact that she was taking her time thinking about the date of when Vic supposedly met up with her bothered me. I trusted Vic. He wouldn't do this, right?

Vic stood up from his chair, walked over to me, and looked Hayley dead in the eye. "You and I never had sex. We met up before summer started, got coffee, but never had sex. There is NO WAY that baby you claim to have in there is mine. If you are so confident that it's mine, lets do a paternity test. Dr. Sterling would be more than happy to do so." He smiled. He was confident. I loved it.

Hayley agreed to do it, as long as I did one too. I had nothing to hide. She had some secrets but I was scared of her results. I pulled out my phone and called Dr. Sterling's office. The nurse picked up on the second ring.

"Doctor Sterling's office, this is Jackie, how can I help you?" I could hear her smile through the phone. "Hi, Jackie. Its Jennifer Bostwick. My husband and I were in this morning, I was wondering if we could come back in with a friend and get some paternity tests done?" I finished my phone call and walked back over to the group, who were all glaring at Hayley.
"Jackie scheduled us for 3:30 this afternoon, so we better get a move on. Kellin, would you mind joining us please. I need family support in this." He nodded.

We gathered in Vic's car and headed back up to the doctors office.

~an hour later~

Doctor Sterling came back into the room where the four of us sat. "Well, Ms. Bostwick, The father of the twins, is 100% Victor Fuentes. And Ms. Williams. The father of your baby, is actually not Mr. Fuentes. Its Zac Farro. " He smiled at us. "Was there anything else I could help with today?" I shook my head at him and laughed internally. Was this crazy lady really trying to pin a kid on Vic?

"Vic, I can explain." She started. "I really do love you - More than I love myself. She doesnt deserve you. You're amazing, perfect even. I want to have your babies, your last name, share your bed. Don't you get it?" She was starting to cry. "Jennifer, she stole you from me. I was going to go another step before she came into the picture. It just isnt fair." She stormed off.

Kellin and I just looked at each other before we let out a full belly laugh. "I hope that's the last we see of her."
