Uneasiness in more understandable word can be said as "Anxiety". Being anxious. Its a wonder that how this anxiety seeps into your brain and body without even you feeling it. You think everything is fine until you get invited by a friend for a party or to hang out or even when you get a call.

The anxiety that starts creeping from your mind to your body of:

How should I dress? Will they like me? Will I be sociable enough? Will they think I look bad? Do I deserve to be hanging out? Will I look like I fit in between them? Should I pick up the call? Why are they calling me? Will they enjoy talking with me? Are they getting bored? Am I again alone? Noone wants to talk to me.

Woah!!!

I mean that is one such a fret train of questions, so many self-doubts, so much anxiousness to even just pick a call and talk.

Anxiety is one shitty emotion to feel and its like it will happen only to teenagers or children it will affect the adolescents also but they smart enough to hide it through other actions. Anxiety is one such feeling that makes you feel like you are living in a cage, which is made by you itself. There is this strong feeling of getting out, letting yourself out of this cage making you to fly out like a free bird but still there is the dreading thought that comes running like Usain Bolt to the front of your mind with great command on you saying,

"Can you really go out of here?"

"What will be the people thinking when you are walking on streets?"

"Is my dress favourable enough?"

"Do I look like the ugly monster am I?"

All these thoughts are more than enough to stop you from taking even one step from your house. But there is one question that has been bugging me since forever;

"Is anxiety similar to overthinking?"

Well, psychologically anxiety or being anxious is considered as an mental health issue. It is a psychological disorder to be exact.

If you have any type of anxiety, then be sure that overthinking will be its first symptom. Overthinking is caused by anxiety.

As you know that thinking is a process that goes 24*7 within or brain. It cannot be stopped obviously its already a known fact. But overthinking is also like that same process it goes on and on.

But as we know that our brain thinks about everything when I say everything it literally includes the whole package.

So that means our brain actually pauses for atleast few seconds or minutes before actually concluding any matter. So that means the one tactic you guys can use and see if whenever your brain goes overthinking, just stop, I mean like stop even if it is for few seconds and think, is this me thinking? Is this for real?

If your brain answers No, now you just became a superhero inside your little wonderland by stopping a big fret train from crashing guys.

You actually won over a huge war that was to break out. You see, overthinking doesnot stop till you stop it guys.

You being the keyword here. It is only you who can do anything and everything to stop this.

Guys, overthinking can be stopped or even ignored or distracted. Ignoring by completely letting other voices in your head to take lead or by letting other work/actions occupy your mind. That brings us to distraction, Distracting your mind from overthinking , or being anxious. It is through several solutions that can help in this. Distraction is mainly led by letting your mind wander around your favourite work or hobby that you are passionate about.

Let me phrase it for you.

For once your mind is calm in the morning when you wake up.

But as the day starts your mind also starts with thinking but not just thinking it starts over thinking.

You donot need to a panic attack at that moment. just take a deep breath with your eyes closed.

Exhale through your mouth simple old technique.

Start with next thing that is your favourite thing like reading book. Take that favourite book of yours, open the most intense chapter of book and read.

Take up your ipod and play your most favourite song and sing on it or dance your heart out.

Cook or bake because its another lovely day, just focus on your cooking and baking with some background music going on or even silence if you like it.

Main agenda of everything is to distract your mind from your worst thinking to your best thinking process. Let its creativity flow. Do the cleaning thing or even drawing or may be there is some place that makes you forget everything and calms you to your core, just do it.

Just do anything except for talking to anyone.

It will only intensify your emotions. You'll start to feel even more bad about yourself. So don't do the craziness of talking to someone at least not at that given moment.

talk about anxiety to your family or friends once your mind is miles away from overthinking even if for few minutes.

Guys, remember one thing whatever you are suffering from may it be an emotional breakdown or any mental health issue at some point you can and will seek help, but at the end of the day it is You who can help yourself. If you are determined and have a strong will then you don't need any medicines or therapy sessions to keep your mind intact.

Yes, I'm not telling that don't talk to anyone about it;

You should, you need to because at some point letting it out through talking with family, friends or even an expert therapist helps a lot. But for it to work out also you need to prepare your mind for that scenario.

Anxiety's chain can be broken with our own will and firm dedication of actually putting a full stop to this overthinking train. So at some point do seek for help rather than rotting your inner self and believe me You are not crazy.

At last, one thing keep in mind it doesn't matter who is telling what or what not, the only thing that matters is what you know and what you are. Be thankful that you have a body and it is pretty good at working out itself, don't tire it out. So at least for the sake of that beautiful body of your's, keep it in good condition which implies not just in physical but also the mental health.

Be strong, thankful and happy that you have come so far with fighting all the obstacles like in some video game, where you fight and fight at some point you do win it by fighting over all the enemies so it here just don't go killing others!

And but not the least smile more, every morniing wake up with a smile not for the world to see it but for your body to feel it, that it is happy and obviously its a good exercise for your jaw muscles.
