THE WEEK WENT BY slowly for emi, but now it was monday and she was back to work for the mafia. mori explained her job through the phone. the female has to work for the armed detective agency as a undercover detective from london to get information on how to destroy them. the girl sighs loudly as she gets out her car, sporting a white button up shirt, a green pencil skirt and some black heeled boots, a purse sits on her shoulder and a jacket in her arms as the weather was relatively warm this day of the week. her now short blonde hair sat above her shoulders, a bandage around her head due to the fall she had last week.
the female makes her way into the building, a gun in her purse just in case of emergency, mori told the women to do so. the blonde carries herself up the stairs to the door that had the agency's name on it, emi places a light knock on the door and a short blonde boy opens it with a bright smile "oh! you must be the detective from london! you look familiar!" the blonde male examines with a soft smile "um yeah, i'm sakunosuke emi" she flashes him a friendly smile. the women had a gentle and friendly nature normally, a lot of the mafia have said her kind personality didn't suit her job at all, but the women proves them wrong all the time with her skills.
"kunikida! the london lady is here!" the boy yells into the office and a tall mature looking male with glasses comes out of a room "pardon miss for kenji, he's a bit hyper" the male says and emi sends him a soft smile "don't worry about it, he made me feel welcomed" she says and steps into the office as the male opens the door wider for her to come in "you'll meet your partner for the mission today and what the mission is about" the blonde male explains as he leads her to another room and she nods slowly.
the two adults step into a room with a long table, two males already sat at the table "is the detective here yet? i don't have much time left" ranpo spoke and looks up, spotting the blonde female "oh welcome miss" he sends her a slight smile as she sits down across from him and she smiles "hello sir" she says, putting her purse on the table "call me ranpo" he says and stretches out his hand for her to shake "emi" she mutters and shakes his hand "is he my partner?" she questions kunikida and the blonde male shakes his head "no, your partner is dazai" the male speaks and emi's mouth opens as she looks at the male next to ranpo, the brunette haired male looks up and sends her a sly smirk "hello miss sukunosuke, i've heard of your amazing detective work, im osamu dazai" he stands up and emi follows his action "nice to be working with you mr osamu" she stretches out her hand for him to shake and he takes a gentle grip of it, turning it around and placing a soft kiss on her hand, which caused her ocean orbs to widen slightly "oh emi call me dazai" he smirks "have you two met before?" ranpo questions as he watches the pair "oh yeah, he saved me from a car hitting me," emi explains and snatches her hand out of his grip and sits back down, a light blush on her cheeks as dazai sits back down also.
"anyways," the older blonde male speaks and looks at the whiteboard in front of the long table, emi follows his gaze and raises her eyebrow at the notes "a billionaire with a very deadly and dangerous ability, is planning to kill a whole party of important people to the government and stuff like the government, important organisations and other billionaires" the blonde male explains and emi raises her eyebrows "right why am i needed for this?" she asks "your ability is strong and will work well with dazai's. dazai's ability allows him to stop any ability and your ability is strong and dangerous if used correctly," the blonde male explains "it's a fancy mask party, two members of the mafia will also be there to kidnap the billionaire and use him for their own good" the male explains and emi raises her eyebrow once again "and how do you know that exactly?" she ask "we have our sources of information and two of them are the guest list, along with yourself and dazai now" kunikida explains and emi nods slowly.
half an hour later and emi was making her way out of the building "now why did mori send you?" a male voice spoke to her, "i know you don't want to work with me dazai" she sighs and keeps walking to her car, the male following behind her with his hands in his pockets "working with you is the last thing i want to do before i die but i gotta follow orders." she explains and unlocks her car "why you though? couldn't they send a more unknown member," he questions the girl and she turns around to look at him and his eyes widen slightly "i am an unknown member, the mafia have risked their lives just to keep my name undercover, im the mafia's undercover agent for a reason dazai" she says and slides into her seat.
"why did you cut your hair?" he asks, leaning down and looking at her through her open window "you said you still loved it so i cut it all off" she smirks slightly and starts her car "now maybe you should leave before i run you over" she looks up at him and he sends her a smirk and nods, moving away from the car and watching as she drives down the street "heck i'll miss those long locks" he mutters to himself as he makes his way back into the building .
