Loud knocking echoed through the house as the dirty blonde groaned softly. "Give me a minuteeeee!" He yelled out to the door, slowly opening his eyes. His eyelids felt so heavy, as he rubbed his face a bit. "God..." He muttered softly, before letting out a loud yawn and stretching out his arms. He cracked his back which ached a little most likely from sleeping on it wrong or something along those lines.
As the short man stood up, he walked over to his kitchen, grabbing a bag of cat foods that he poured into a wooden bowl. He smiled a bit as his two feline friends came running upon hearing their favorite noise. Although, he soon frowned as that knocking turned into loud pounding. He was afraid the did it any harder they'd owe him a new door. "I'm coming!" He screamed out towards the door, although he regretted doing that, coughing. Grian rubbed his throat, his mouth feeling dry as he swallowed his own saliva to no avail. It still ached him.
He walked over the door, the spruce floorboards creaking with each step. He opened the door to see Doc with a terrified expression on his face. Grian raised an eyebrow, stared at the man panting softly. His breathing was shaky as he sounded pained, which the dirty blonde tilted his head a bit too. "Doc, what are you doing here..?"
"C-Closest shelter...." He groaned, eyes rolling into his head. Grian caught the man, although almost dropping him due to his bigger size and weight. The small man's eyes widened upon now being able to see the sharp spike that was jabbed deeply into his back.
"Oh shit!"
Grian frantically dragged Doc to his couch, setting him down. He ran back to his cupboards, opening all of them. He grabbed a roll of bandages, bottle of alcohol, some clean cloths, hot water, an unlit torch, and a lighter. He wasn't experienced in medical knowledge, but Cleo taught him a thing or two through very painful methods.
Upon finishing grabbing the supplies, he rushed over to Doc. Good thing he already passed out, else this would be very painful for him. Grian ripped the spike out, cutting his own hand a bit on the sharp rock. He threw the bloodied object to the side, as Maui sniffed it before backing away.
Blood proceeded to ooze out of the wound with nothing holding it in anymore. Grian put some cloth over it, applying pressure and waiting for the bleeding to stop. He sighed, throwing that dirtied cloth to the side. Pulling out another cloth, he dipped it with alcohol to clean the wound. Doc's body tensed up as he went through this process.
Finally, to close the wound up.... Grian grabbed the unlit torch, lighting the top as the flames sparked to life. He flinched, memories and voices springing to life in his mind upon seeing the fiery red. However, he pushed that to the side in order to help a friend. He knew this would be very painful, but he placed the fire next to his wound in order to seal it with the flames. You know, he did a derp. The flames could have stopped the bleeding anyways, but that didn't matter right now, he was panicked.
The fire sealed the wound before Grian threw the torch on the ground and stomped on it many times. He continually stomped on it until the fire was completely extinguished. After going through that, he ran through the wound with a bit more alcohol before grabbing the bandages. Yeah, he wasn't sure if he was doing this right at all, he had no idea how this stuff worked.
However, he pulled Doc's shirt up in order the wrap the bandages around his wound. Upon finishing, Grian let out a soft victorious huff. Hopefully he did that right and hadn't ended up hurting the injured man more.
