You suddenly were now sitting at a table with both your parents and Bakugo's parents, Bakugo and his family sitting across from you. Mitsuki smiled at you, cupping her head in her hands.
"Y/N, do you like garlic bread?"
Your eyes lit up and a wide grin grew on your face, vigorously nodding. "I don't just like garlic bread, I love it!"
Mitsuki burst out laughing, eyes twinkling.
"I thought you'd say that! I'm a garlic bread fan, myself. Let's order three baskets for the whole table!"
Your eyes widened and you turned to your parents, eyes sparkling. "I love you guys, but Mrs. Bakugo is becoming one of my new favorite adults."
Your parents chuckled, shaking their heads. Bakugo scoffed at you, taking out his phone. Mitsuki swiftly grabbed it from his hands, smiling sweetly. "Today's a special day. We're all socializing, so stay off your phone."
The ash-blonde grumbled as the adults started to talk, rolling his eyes before staring at you. He grinned darkly, kicking at you from under the table. Your eyes widened and you grinned as well, kicking him back. He chuckled, and suddenly you and Bakugo were in a kicking fight. He gave a particularly harsh kick to your leg, and you winced, a shocked expression on your face. Bakugo burst out laughing, pointing at your face as he clutched his stomach. The adults turned to look at you, confused.
"What's so funny, Katsuki?" Mitsuki said, staring at him. He stopped laughing, expression changing into his normal annoyed one.
"Nothing, hag, go back to your conversation."
Mitsuki growled and smacked the back of his head, turning back around to talk to your parents once again. The food arrived quickly, a waiter swiftly placing the plates onto your table. "Enjoy."
Mitsuki's and your eyes lit up at the sight of the garlic bread, and both of you quickly grabbed a piece of it from the basket. Bakugo rolled his eyes at you as you stuffed your piece in your mouth, slowly savoring it. Mitsuki took a bite of her piece, smiling at you.
"So, Y/N, how did you and Katsuki become friends?"
"We're not friends, stupid hag!" Bakugo snapped, and Mitsuki glared at him, before her eyes widened and her mouth formed an O.
"Are you two dating, then?"
You blushed and nearly choked on your garlic bread, and your parents both almost spat out their drinks. They stared wide-eyed at you, clearly demanding an answer. Bakugo's face reddened and he clenched his jaw, slamming a fist onto the table.
"We're...friends." He growled, glaring at you as you tried to calmly eat your bread. Your mind wandered, and you were now imagining what you two dating would be like.
'Bakugo and I...dating? That would be so weird, but also I would like that a lot. Would he be nicer to me? Wait, does that mean...I can pet his hair?! Maybe he'd even let me cuddle with him! We'd watch the clouds together, and play with snails, and-'
"Y/N, Mitsuki's trying to ask you something." Your father coughed, bringing you back down to Earth. You blinked, then looked over at Mitsuki, smiling.
"I'm sorry, I tend to space out from time to time. What was the question?"
"Have you thought about a hero agency you want to join in the future? The sports festival was basically like a scouting opportunity for pro heroes."
You hummed, grabbing another piece of garlic bread and chewing it.
"I don't know, honestly. Hawks seems like a pretty cool hero, so I'm kinda hoping to get picked for his agency. There aren't a lot of people, especially pro heroes, with a quirk like mine."
Bakugo snorted, taking a bite of his salad.
"You really think you're good enough to go to Hawks's agency? Tough chance, gas-"
"Shut up! I think that's a great choice, Y/N. He seems like a pretty laid-back guy, and doesn't seem like he'd be too harsh on you, either."
You smiled at Mitsuki, eyes shining. "That's why I find him so cute, too. So, that's another reason I want to go."
Bakugo choked on his salad, eyes widening as you and Mitsuki giggled. You thought Hawks was cute? As in attractive? Well, that was your own opinion, but why did he feel so pissed when you said that? Mitsuki glanced at her son, noticing his expression, and realization struck her. She smirked, capturing Bakugo in a friendly headlock.
"What about Kat? You think he's as cute as Hawks?"
A small blush dusted your cheeks, and you smiled, eyes twinkling. "Yeah, he's not too bad. Hawks seems more snail-like than him, though. Katsuki's more like an angry snake."
Mitsuki blinked, confused. "Snail-like?"
"Yeah, Hawks reminds me of a snail. Laid-back, a little slow. Snails are adorable." You sighed, a dreamy look in your eyes. "I wonder if Hawks has a back shield he uses for his wings? Then he'll really look like a snail."
Mitsuki internally face-palmed, embarrassed that she misunderstood your meaning of 'cute'. Bakugo's face turned crimson, equally as embarrassed as his mother. Of course you were thinking about snails again. You snapped back to reality, staring confusedly at the two.
"Huh? What's wrong?"
"N-nothing! Have another piece of garlic bread!"
