  All Might flew back, the force of your smoke rocket overpowering him. He tumbled to the ground, but then quickly stood back up, grinning. You scowled, adjusting the weapon on your shoulder.

  "There's plenty more where that came from!"

  As you fired rockets at All Might, Midoriya was desperately trying to convince Bakugo to give up the fight.

  "I'm telling you! There's no way you can win just by hitting him up front!! Can't you see?!"

  "Shut up." Bakugo growled, looking back at you as you continued to attack. Your mood was significantly different from usual, your usual dreamy grin gone and your eyes sharper. His gaze hardened, and he felt a tug on his heartstrings. He turned back to Midoriya, glaring.

  "I will win. Because...that's what a hero does."

  Midoriya looked at you, as well, then turned back to Bakugo, eyebrows furrowed. "Then that's all the more reason this battle is-"

  "Let go of me, don't touch-"

  You suddenly flew backwards, landing in between the two boys. Your smoke rocket disappeared, and you were breathing heavily, sweat dripping down your forehead and your breath fogging up in the mask. One of your oxygen tanks had been smashed, and you were left gasping for air. Bakugo and Midoriya's eyes widened as they stared at you, shell shocked.

  Your eyelids fluttered, and you turned your head to the boys and spoke before you lost consciousness.

  "Above...you."

  You woke up being carried under someone's arm, your eyes feeling heavy still. You looked up to see that Bakugo was carrying you, and you were all moving at a high speed. He glanced down at you, hard gaze breaking for a moment. You could see a flash of pain in his eyes.

  "We're almost there! It's right there! The escape gate!" Midoriya shouted, and you broke your eye contact and turned to where he was looking. Your eyes widened and you giggled, outstretching your hands and making a grabbing motion.

  "It has Principal Nezu on it...and snails! It's so cute! If one of us passes, then we all pass!"

  Bakugo gritted his teeth, glaring at the gate. "The bastard's fucking with us..."

  "I don't see All Might chasing us...he didn't faint, did he?"

  "No, fucking idiot, you're the one who said we couldn't beat his ass, the fuck are you saying now? Ain't a chance that baby punch made him pass out! If he catches up to us then I'll launch you using my bracer!"

  "Hmm, I see!"

  Your eyes widened as you heard All Might's voice, and you felt your heart sink. For the second time today, you felt hopeless. And hopeless wasn't good. You saw All Might rush up next to you, grinning.

  "And? Then what?"

  You and Bakugo were suddenly knocked over, Midoriya soon following. You felt a pressure on your back and hacked, eyes popping out of your sockets.

  "Magnificent, you all! Despite your reluctance to do so, you joined forces and stood as one to face the enemy...HOWEVER! FOR YOU THREE!"

  All Might pressed down on your back harder, making you let out a silent cry of pain.

  "That is merely the prerequisite of this exam."

  Your vision blurred and you started to laugh, your lungs tightly compressing. Bakugo stared at you from under All Might's other foot, eyes widening.

  "The fuck...? Have you finally gone bat shit crazy?"

  "All Might..." You rasped, coughing slightly as you emitted a controlled stream of transparent gas from your body. "You might've crushed one of my oxygen tanks...but I've still got another one ready for use!"
 
  All Might stiffened up, eyes dull. You shakily raised one hand, flicking your wrist. All Might let go of Midoriya, making the boy drop to the ground. With another strained movement, you had toppled All Might to the ground, and were now standing over him, breathing heavily. A deadly gleam was in your eyes as you stared coldly down at him, for once not smiling. You gripped his strings tightly.

  "We're gonna pass, and you can't stop us."
