"Right, the text exercise will begin shortly." Aizawa said, shoving his hands in his pockets. You yawned, breath fogging up in your hazmat suit's mask. "Obviously, you can fail in this test, too, so if you wanna go to the forest lodge, then you'd better try to keep up."

"Hey, Mr. Aizawa, why are there so many teachers here? I thought we were gonna fight against robots?" You questioned, tilting your head.

"Sorry, afraid not! Due to various reasons, we've decided to change the contents of the test, starting today!" Principal Nezu chirped, springing out of Aizawa's scarf. You jumped, surprised.

"Principal Nezu!"

"What do you mean...?"

You found yourself getting lost in your thoughts as you stared at the furry principal, eyes unfocusing.

'There's so many soft things at UA...I bet anything Principal Nezu's fur is soft, too. What kind of animal is he? A bear? Raccoon? Mouse? A bousecoon? Nah, he sorta looks like a prairie dog...what's his quirk again, anyways?'

"...Which, boys and girls, is all to say...that henceforth, we will have you form pairs to engage in combat with one of these educators!"

You snapped out of your thoughts, eyes widening. "Huh?"

"With...with our teachers?" Uraraka said, eyebrows furrowed.

  "Now, who all of you are paired with and which teacher you'll be fighting have already been decided. There will be a group of three, since the number of students in your class is uneven. The way you tend to move, your grades, and your degree of familiarity. We personally judged how you'll be pairing up based on all sorts of things, and we'll list the matchups now."

"First off, Todoroki's with Yaoyorozu as a team..." Aizawa jabbed a thumb at his chest, grinning. "...against me."

He turned to Midoriya. "And Midoriya, you're with...Bakugo and L/N, as a team."

You, Bakugo, and Deku looked at each other, startled.

"De—?!"

"Ka—?!"

"Me—?!"

"As for who, your opponent will be..."

All Might stepped forward, a large smile on his face. "I'm here to oblige! Now cooperate and come at me to win, wonder trio!"

You and your teammates exchanged glances. Your eyes connected with Bakugo's and you quickly looked away, blushing. You two had been acting normally since the almost-kiss, but eye contact still made you a bit uneasy. Bakugo gritted his teeth, turning his head away from you and Midoriya.

"The outline of the test will be explained by each of the teachers you'll face. You're to be transported by the campus buses. Time is precious, so get in them ASAP." Aizawa announced, stepping forward.

You sat next to Midoriya on the bus, leaving a brooding Bakugo in a separate section than you. The bus ride was filled with silence, tension hanging in the air. All Might turned around to face you guys, anxious.

"Wanna play Period or something...?"

"I'll play!" You piped up, smiling. All Might nodded, turning to Midoriya and Bakugo.

"Young Midoriya? Young Bakugo?"

He was met with silence.

All Might sighed, turning back around. You sunk back into your seat, pouting.

"This is the worst."

"All right, this is the stage we'll be fighting in." All Might said, making you choke on air.

"Fight? Uh, you want us to actually beat you? Reminder, I'm a small snail and you're a large predator."

"No need to worry, Young L/N! I'll explain it all now."

You groaned, immediately phasing out of reality.

'This is so boring...I wonder if I should've just made an excuse to skip today's tests? I'll never be able to take on All Might...I can barely take on Katsuki! I hope Midoriya doesn't break all his bones again. And I hope...Katsuki stays calm. I want them to both work together with me. I know Midoriya will do it, no problem, but it's Katsuki that I'm worried about...'

"THAT'S RIGHT! THIS WILL BE A TEST OF YOUR JUDGEMENT!" All Might shouted, making you snap of of it. He held up a metal bracelet, grinning. "However, you might be thinking 'with this setup, isn't running the only real option?!' Well, we commissioned the department of support and had them make us this! Super Compressor weights!"

Your eyes widened, and you pointed at the bracelet. "Hey, that looks kinda familiar. Doesn't that girl Hatsume design things like that?"

All Might smiled as he strapped on the bracelets. "Right you are, L/N, my lass! Incidentally, this design is Young Hatsume's, selected via competition!"

"Is all that just to let us consider fighting? You're looking down on me." Bakugo growled, narrowing his eyes.

All Might's expression seemed to grow darker. "Haha! I wonder!"

The final bracelet clicked, and he moved his limbs, albeit a bit slowly. He turned to you, grinning.

"Now, give me all you've got!"
