Author's note: kinda inspirational poem... Very long but there's no limit to a poem's length, right??? I DON'T OWN THE PICTURE(I wish...) I did make up the poem... If I somehow copied some other poem out there, SORRY(bows) I didn't know I swear on my life... I didn't know what to name this.... Name ideas, please!
Life is hard.
Nothing about it is easy or free
Words can break
Actions speak
Regrets trail
Longing for something better, wishing for the past
But never seeming to get it
Losing and learning
Wining and struggling
You can never rest
Expectations are like stones in your stomach
Self consciousness bullies you
The feeling you aren't good enough and never will be
Trying and failing
Not trying and regretting it
Going with the flow even when the flow goes downstream
Having to pinch yourself and remind yourself you're real
Feeling invisible
Like you don't matter cause everything is already achieved
Feeling like it's too late to try
But
Life is worth it
Good memories like gold in your mind
All the words in your head finally emptied out
The rainbow after the rain
The top of the mountain
The push to be the best
Being the reason someone else lives
Being the smile, the helping hand that someone else needed
You are a beacon, a candle, a burning flame
Make your light brighter, your flame more intense
That burst of inspiration the words that turn up on paper everything you understand
Say it. Write it. Embrace it. Feel it. Confront it. Inspect it.
Write yourself out. Make yourself. Be the person you want to be.
Throw the stones. Reach to the galaxy. You stand on stars. You are a star. Don't look down.
If you fall, I will be there to lift you back up. Don't worry, you will never touch the ground.
Live life. Don't be afraid to fall. Love. Learn. Cry. Let yourself feel.
You are your worst enemy. Battle against the little voice in your head.
It isn't you. This is you. And you are beautiful.
So what if someone else says otherwise? You live for yourself and no one else.
Scream out. Show them you CAN. Show them you can and you will.
Get up. Wipe the dust off. Bandage your bruises. Don't hide them. Show them to the world
Life is hard. But it is worth it.
