Since today was a somewhat nice day, everyone wanted to walk on the sidewalk.

They also wanted to judge Connor and I as we walked down the street.

Every person we passed they would look at our bodies up and down, and when they met our eyes, they would look away.

When the person was past us, Connor would make a face back at them without them seeing.

“We do look like hobos though,” I say.

“Hey, they don’t know the situation,” he replies. “For all they know, we could have been in an epic car wash war.”

“Yes because that makes the most sense,” I reply.

We finally reach the campus and we both walk inside and everyone either points and laughs or whispers.

When about the twelfth person whispers I look at them and say, “Yes we are wet! We fell in a lake!”

The girl looks at me, and her and her friend scurry away.

I exhale loudly and keep walking with Connor. I glance over at him and see that he is smiling.

“I’m sorry, but people need to stop judging without knowing the situation,” I say throwing my hands all over the place.

“For all they know we could have been teaching swans how to do the backstroke,” Connor states.

“That would never happen!” I say.

“Swans need to learn to do the backstroke too,” Connor says.

“Why?” I ask.

“I don’t know,” he says shrugging his shoulders. He pulls out his phone and dials a number, and presses the phone to his ear.

“Hey, are you guys still there?” he asks. “Yeah, there was an incident, but can you see if my hat is down there at all?”

We are going back to this snapback again. I don’t know why this is so special to him and all. It’s just a snapback. Maybe I can ask Tyler about it later.

Connor ends his call, and we get to my room.

I open the door and Connor tells he’ll come back around here after he freshens up.

I close the door and see Melissa with books all over her bed.

“Hey,” I say waving to her.

“What happened to you?” she asks looking at me from head to toe.

“I fell in a lake,” I reply. “It’s a long story.”

She nods, and then goes back to her books. I walk over to my closet and grab clothes to change in to.

I go into the bathroom and start the shower, and then I wash all of the lake smell off of me. I change into somewhat comfortable casual clothes because I’m guessing we will be going out to dinner again tonight.

I apply some makeup and then walk back out into the dorm.

“You have a rocker chic style don’t you?” Melissa asks.

I look at my outfit and reply, “I guess so.”

“I would never wear that, but it looks really good on you,” she says not looking at me.

I’m not sure if it is killing her to say that or not.

“Has Connor stopped by yet?” I ask her.

“No,” she replies.

I nod my head and grab my phone and some money and tell her I’ll be back later tonight.

I walk towards the guys’ dorm. I knock lightly and I hear, “C’MON IN!”

When I walk inside, I see Connor furiously typing on his laptop. “Hey,” he says without looking away.

“What are you doing?” I ask him, trying to see the screen of his laptop.

“Oh, just writing a paper,” he says shutting his laptop really fast.

“Oh,” I say.

“The guys say that we should meet them at Ris,” Connor tells me.

I nod my head, and then ask what time should we meet them there.

Connor looks at his watch and then replies, “Right now.”

“Oh, okay,” I say. Connor and I go through the door and I follow him while we walk outside.

“Today was eventful,” I say laughing a little.

“Yeah,” he says monotone.

Okay, well he seems to be in a really talkative mood. He has seemed weird since I walked in his dorm.

Whatever it’s Connor, and although I have only known him for a day, he’s weird.
