Legacy

Chapter 1

Smoke rose from the fire blazing at a recreational center and a few nearby buildings. A man in a suit wearing shades stood there with his hands in his pocket.

A woman appeared behind him. "Genocide as you can see Hangman has done his part of the plan."

The leader of plunder nodded. "Good Purplesmoke,good. Now hurry and get into position, they will be arriving soon."

Purple smoke nodded and turned to go but suddenly turned around. "Genocide, what is the real reason   we are doing this. And don't give me the crap you gave the others."

Genocide turned it look at her. She knew that she had made a mistake by asking that question because she could see his eyes through the shades and the were glowing crimson red, and sign thst he was activating Slaughterhouse-his ability.

She gulped in fear and turned to go.

" Wait."

Purplesmoke turned around apprehensive. "Make sure that Omen knows what to do before the paladins arrive."

She nodded and left.

15 mins later.

Space blurred in front of the recreational center and 3 people appeared. Shift blade, Shockwave and Broken star. Shiftblade and Shockwave were advisors among the paladins and Broken Star was an administrator.

In the paladins there were rankings based on ability and contributions to the organization- normal heroes,elites,advisors, admistrators,council members and the president.

Before the heroes could fully assess the situation Purplesmoke arrived. Beside her was a man with black haired who had an emotionless face.

"Purplesmoke and Omen. I didn't think that you would be here. After all, none of you have the power to cause so much destruction." Broken Star said then paused.

He looked at Omen. "Maybe you could. But this doesn't feel like your work. It's too controlled and seems random."

The two villains remained silent. Broken star sighed. "I guess that we are going to have to do this. But before we do I want to ask you to back off. The two of you are outnumbered plus with me here you have no hope of winning."

Purplesmoke smiled. "How thoughtful but I think that I'll just skip this sappy bullshit and get to the fighting part."

Shockwave and  Shift blade looked at each other and shrugged. Shift blade grabbed the katana strapped to his back and resumed a ready stance. A second later, the space around him blurred and he disappeared.

He appeared in front of Purplesmoke and tried to cut her down. But before he could Omen grabbed his hand. "Is that anyway to treat a woman." the emotionless villain muttered.

Shift blade frowned before he disappeared and reappeared by his comrades again. Shockwave shook his head. "You just had to attack first didn't you. What about  us being a team?"

Shiftblade grinned "Hey I had to try. If I managed to take down of the villains among the top 30 in plunder I would immediately get promoted to become an admistrator.

" Stop fooling and get ready to fight." Broken star ordered. " I'll take care of omen the two of you take down Purplesmoke." The two advisors nodded and charged into battle.

Broken star turned to Omen. "How long has it been since you stepped out to fight, one year, two......

The raspy voice of Omen said." Too much destruction is caused  once I participate. But the boss wanted me here so here I am. "

At Omens words Broken stars expression changed."Wait. Did you say that Genocide ordered this attack."

"Enough talk." Omen raised his head and his eyes flashed with a dark blue color. An invisible destructive wave spread out encompass a half mile radius. Even though he was floating in the air, the ground beneath him cracked and shattered, and debris floated into the air as if there was no gravity. The surrounding buildings were crushed as if they were tinfoil.

"I wonder how powerful his area of chaos is." Broken star muttered before bursting into bright light and charging into the fight.

Meanwhile, Purplesmoke had already began her  fight with Shiftblade and Shockwave. She grinned as she lit the cigarette that was always hanging on in her mouth. Drawing deeply from it, she suddenly exhaled, and smoke drifted out, encompassing the area they were fighting. The smoke took various shapes and forms, and had a dreamy effect that trapped the heroes in it.

She, Shiftblade and Shockwave fought back and forth. Their fight was like a practiced dance, fast and precise, accurate yet still powerful in their own way. She with her daggers and illusions, Shiftblade with his katana and Shockwave with his lightning.

Shockwave  was no fool. He knew that he would not be able to fight Purplesmoke alone. She was too skilled. Going against her in a head on fight was unwise, especially when they were trapped her illusion zone. Combining forces with Shiftblades, they shattered whatever smoke like creature that came at then.

Flashing to the side, Shockwave released a massive burst if electricity, blowing a hole in Purplesmokes illusion zone. The duo immediately rushed out to confront the plunderer.

The fighting instant heated up as the trio danced thirugh the night sky. Though their battle was less destructive than Omens, it would determine the end result of the fight.

In this way the duo  were slowly dominating Purplesmoke. Suddenly, there was a sound like thunder, and they trio paused. Shiftblade turned to look at Broken star worriedly, and, Purplesmoke grinned as she flung her dagger at him.

At the last second, the hero managed to defect the dagger, but was unprepared when Purplesmoke appeared before him. She punched him in the gut, and, as he hunched over, stabbed her remaining dagger at a spot just below the shoulder blade, scraping his spine.
"Henry," Shockwave roared as he threw a lightning bolt at Purplesmoke

The villainess easily dodged the attack and floated away, puckering her lips and throwing him an air kiss as he rescued his teammate. "Get ready honey , 'cus you're next."

Meanwhile, at an abandoned building 3 miles away.

A blonde haired man in a black suit, sat over the edge of a half finished building with his legs hanging over the edge. He removed his shades and grinned as his black eyes started pulsing with a visious red light, as if he could see the fight between the heroes and villains, and it was making him excited.
