On my second day of being in Australia, I decided to be cliché and head to the beach. I've been to beaches before but the ones in America are no where as beautiful as the Gold Coast's. Here, everything's better: the water, the scenery, the hot boys - damn you Miranda for putting that into my head!

The beach's not too far from where I live, I can see the water from my bedroom due to the huge window-wall. I put on black shorts and tank - I am colorful, I know - along with my red snap-back and sunnies and left with a little shout to my parents, informing them that I'm leaving.

The sun was shining on the beach as I walked, sand slipping inside my vans, making me grimace and taking them off. I don't know about you but walking with sand in your shoes is very uncomfortable. There's worst places to get sand in but I'm not gonna get into details. I found a place to sit and put my bag on the ground, taking my towel out of my bag and replacing it by my shoes.

I sat on my towel, admiring the scenery and took a quick picture, sending it to Miranda. I'm having so much fun bragging to her, she gets mad every time.

Isin't this amazing?

From: Randy

Ugh, stop! I want to be there with you so bad.. You should've taken me into your suitcase, I'm sure no one would've noticed.

To: Randy

And I'm sure the guy who weight your stuff would've made me pay a shitload for extra weight

From: Randy

Are you insinuating that I'm fat?

To: Randy

Nope. I'd never say that.

From: Randy

You better, fatass. Seen any cute boys while you're on the beach? I'm sure there's a hot guy somewhere, please find me one! Hurry, I have to go to bed..

To: Randy

I'll keep you updates on the boys, night Blondie xx

From: Randy

You're blonde too!

I shrugged and put my phone in my bag, deciding to enjoy the beach instead of talking with my friends. It can seems selfish and antisocial but like my mum said, we're not here to play on all our electronic objects all day but to have good time. I went for a swim for a few minutes and then came back to dry under the sun as I listen to some music on my phone. As I was sitting on my beach towel, the sun hitting my very pale skin, I notice a guy surfing on the horizon. He had long hair - for a guy - and looked slightly curly but it was difficult to tell since they're wet. I saw him returning to the beach, his surf under his arm. I got up, crept on him like the stalker I am. I kept my eyes locked on him as he walked on the beach, waving at a few person.

''I'm sorry, I-I didn't look where I was going,'' I apologized when I ran into a guy with red, dyed hair.

''It's alright,'' said the guy like it was no big deal. ''You didn't hurt me,'' he chuckled.

''Do you know how to play volley-ball?'' he asked, pointing to the ball he was holding.

''Yeah, kinda,'' I replied. I'm not the best but I know how it works.

''Me and my friends are having a match right there and we could use another player in our team. Wanna play with us? If you're not busy, that it.''

''Okay.''

And that's how I made my first friend in Australia! I might have made a friend but I completely lost sight of the surfer..
