Epilogue

I was hoping to visit Ashton during my summer holidays but things didn't go as planned. Reason number one, I didn't have enough money. Yes, I did get a job like planned but it's at a café and it doesn't pay that much. Reason number two, I need to think about school. I kinda failed a couple exams in June and now have to take summer classes, oops. I was lucky they didn't make me re-do my whole year. I would've been embarassed.

So instead of passing time with Ashton this summer, I stayed with my best friend, Miranda. She stayed with my family and I for two weeks since her parents were going in the mid-west visit their family and she didn't want to go. I understand, I joined them once and it was boring.

Randy got a job too. She works at a clothing store - shocker - a couple blocks away from where I work. She often visits me during her lunch breaks to eat and chat. It's nice.

And if you're wondering, yes, Ashton and I are still together. It's though, being across the world and all but we make it work, or try to, at least. In December, he participated to to the same surfing competition and won. He did it! I'm so proud of him. Not only because he managed to win the championship but because he went back after what happen. He could've died when he fell and some would've been thromatized of repeating again but not him. He went back, stronger than before and won.

Now, it's been a year and half since I went to Australia with my family. I just graduated High school and am soon going to college. Well, that's a lie. I'm not going to college. Not this semester because I'm moving to Australia. And there, school starts in January, not Spetember.

My parents were upset when I told them about my college choice. They didn't want their only child to move across the world. Miranda and Noah were sad too. They were loosing a friend - not forever though. I'll come back to NYC, to visit and hope to take Ashton with me.

I can't wait to get there. I miss the place. But mostly, I miss the cute surfer that goes by the name of Ashton Irwin.

A/N I feel bad for finishing this book one chapter earlier but I have to, I want to end my books and start new ones. Plus, this is a short story (and a Christmas special, we're like way pass Christmas, lol).
