[Frank]
As I stand here, watching the sunset, the cool breeze wraps it's nightly breath around my bare face. It tickles my neck a little as it lifts my hair up to the partially cloudy sky. My palms stiffen up from keeping my hands on the cold, metal railings of the bridge I'm on.
It's been around thirty minutes of waiting here, at this bridge. But, that's totally fine because I'm the one who got here extra early today. I've started coming to this place again, after so many long months. Last week was when I first started revisiting this area.
Out of nowhere, I begin to think about the clouds above me, spread across the sky artfully. If they hadn't been there and it was just a clear sky, the sunset wouldn't be as gorgeous as it is right now. The fading sunlight reflecting off the tiny particles that make up our white sky fluff is what makes every sunset twice as vibrant. Kind of like how the stars couldn't shine as bright without darkness. Without the darkness, stars won't sparkle. Without the clouds, sunsets would be dull.
I was so caught up in the sky that I didn't even notice the boy standing silently, a little ways away. I felt the presence of someone else and turned around, surveying the area. Right away, I spot a boy in the shadows. He's watching me.
You can tell by his eyes. Yes, they're indeed beautiful, but if you looked closely, you'd see. This boy's eyes told a special story.
