The train doors finally opened as you let out a sigh. Finally the two-hour ride was over and you can stretch some muscles. You decided to ride the train instead because it's faster and it would be too tiring for you to drive but you were actually surprised that sitting still was more tiring than you, driving.
As the people who swarmed to get out of the train lessen, you stood up and walk outside as well. Plugging out your earphones, you instantly searched around for Akaashi who insisted on fetching you up today.
"[Y/N]-san." a monotonous voice called you out.
"Akaashi-kun, hello!" you cheerfully greeted.
He gave you a smile as a reply before asking about your ride coming to Tokyo. "It was surprisingly tiring Akaashi-kun!" you exclaimed. "Driving is fun, it's like playing a race-car game." you giggled.
The weather is fine today. It's not to sunny nor windy. You were wearing an off shoulder pink blouse, denim shorts and your vans shoes. You didn't dressed yourself much because you wanted to be comfortable. You hair is on a messy bun and your contact lenses were on a rest today as you wore your glasses with you. You looked at Akaashi as the two of you walked along the streets to grab some refreshments first before going to the gym. He is on his Fukurodani jacket and pants that are in hue of white with a black and gold stripes on each side.
"Are you feeling nervous?" You asked him out of the blue.
"Just a little." He answered. "But I'm more excited than nervous. I know my teammates and I can pull this off because we worked so hard for this." He confidently said. He almost reminded you of Ushijima who is also confident and blunt about his emotions.
"Oh? That's good to hear then! I haven't seen you played yet but I can tell already that you are a great player Akaashi-kun." you complimented him.
A bit flustered by your sudden remarks, he shook his head and said "I'm not as good as the others [Y/N]-san."
"That's what good players often say Akaashi-kun! Ha ha!" you laughed at your own realization. He's humble.
You reached a cafe that offers boba tea so you ordered your favorite [fave milktea]. Akaashi didn't ordered as he don't want to feel heavy which was totally acceptable he has a game coming up. When the snack buying was over, the two of you immediately went to Sumida City Gymnasium where the Interhigh Representative Playoffs will occur.
Entering the gym you were shocked to see a lot of people anticipating for this match. As Akaashi has told you earlier, they will go up against Nekoma High today. Yesterday they got beaten by Itachiyama Academy so they will probably bounce back in order for them to have a slot in becoming Tokyo Prefecture's representative for the Interhigh Nationals.
"Hey hey hey [Y/N]-chan!" Bokuto welcomed you with his loudly self, same as the last time you first saw him.
"Hello Bokuto-kun." was your simple reply. He opted to gave you a hug but your cold smile made him change his mind.
"Good to see you again [Y/N]-chan!" Kaori Suzumeda shrieked.
The other boys as well greeted you with so much energy it was overwhelming for you. How can they be that cheery when an important game is coming up in just a few minutes? you asked yourself as they swarmed around you. It's a bit too much for you to handle but you appreciated the warm welcome.
When the team started warming up, Suzumeda grabbed you upstairs where the Fukurodani cheerers gathered together. You asked her why she's not with them and she told you only one manager is allowed to aid the team so you didn't mind that much. This is better. I have someone to talked to instead of being alone and quite in the middle of Fukurodani's ocean of fans.
