Waking up alone in an empty house is never new to you, but this time it's totally different. Letting out a heavy sigh, you walked outside the room after you finished your morning rituals. In the dining table inside a cover, breakfast has been prepared already with a sticky note attached to it.

Sorry I need to rush to work again today, eat your breakfast and call me when you wake up.

I love you.

"Again."  You murmured sadly.

It's been about two months since you and your fiance started living together. Bokuto and Yukie had predicted you and Akaashi will soon be engaged in a tons argument similar to what happened to them hut it didn't happened. Why? Simply because there's not even enough time for the two of you to talk properly so can you two even argue if your barely talk or interact with each other?

He oftentimes come home very late drunk from their team dinner or too exhausted after meeting a deadline. And when he's home early which is very rare, he will just sleep.

You're trying to understand that of course. You didn't have any idea how busy it was on their office and you are aware that the manga they were working is peaking at the right time so team celebrations can't be helped and but the popularity of their work is dragging all of his time. Deadlines, after deadlines after deadlines as they update a chapter per week.

You dialed his phone number and attempted to call him as what he had said on the note.

The number you are calling is-

"Even his phone is busy." Immediately ending the call you slammed your body to the sofa and switched on the tv.

Unlike Akaashi, you had all the time in your hands on most of the days as not everyday the Adlers has to conduct a photoshoot. You first thought of that as convenient, but now you're really wishing that the boss would suddenly summon you for any reason just for you to kill the time instead of rotting inside in an empty house.

"This place is lonely." You mumbled to your breath.

living all by yourself and living in house were you and your fiance is supposed to be sharing together are two different things and latter hits awfully depressing. You still remember how excited you were back then as you thought it would be great as you can spend more time together but he seemed so far. You couldn't help but think that the situation was better when you were still in abroad. You got to talk to him at least most of the time through calls and texts.

You stared at the clock at it's 9:30 in the morning "Argh, now how can I kill all this time?" You groaned while pressing the buttons finding the right channel to lift up your mood. Not long after you ended up watching a cooking show and an idea flashed on your head.

The bento.

The bento you had brought before when you went shopping with Ushijima and Tendou was remained unused. For some reasons, the laziness inside you was activated and aside from that, you weren't sure if Akaashi would like your cooking.

"This time I will not worry about whether he'll like my food or not. This relationship will not falter just because he's busy." You motivated yourself and quickly got up to check the fridge.

Fortunately, you have some fresh rapeseed plant stocked inside. "He likes it when it's boiled and tossed with Karashi mustard."

Digging inside the fridge more you found enough ingredients to make onigiris as well.

Wasting no time, you started preparing his bento cooking it as quickly as possible because you will have to deliver it yourself before their lunch break. "I hope he'll like this." You mumbled to your breath as you put the final touch of sliced fruits on the bento.
