Chapter 11: Hurt

Authors note: There will be the mention of a movie called last kiss in this chapter an no it is NOT real!!!! Okay carry on.

"HE WHAT?" Colleen asked loudly asked at lunch looking at my now bruised wrist. I nodded. "That's not okay you need to tell your dad." Becca said. "I can't." I whispered. "Why because the scumbag told you not to? That's the only way to escape that jerks grasp is through your dad."Lindsey said. I shook my head "Drop it okay?" I said firmly. Lindsey frowned but she didn't keep going. instead she asked about my birthday "Your birthday is next Saturday what do you want?" She asked. I shrugged "Not a party!" I said knowing Lindsey wanted to throw me one. "Come on your turning 16 you HAVE to have a party." I shook my head "Tell you what you have a party and i just won't show up!" I said. She rolled her eyes "This isn't over Mcary!" She said evilly. We all laughed and finished our food.

The day before my birthday Colleen called "Hey so i know you don't want a party for your birthday but we should at least go to the midnight premiere of Last Kiss have a sleepover at my house." She said. "Okay that's fine but no gifts or cake or anything." I said. "K I'll pick you up at 5:30 tomorrow." With that we said goodbye and hing up. The at 5:15 i went downstairs with a short strapless pink dress, big hoop earrings, an okay amount of make up on, and my black converse (don't judge instead listen to Demi Lovato! ;) ). "You look nice," My dad said. "Thanks." I said smiling. I was still angry with him because he put me in a TERRIBLE situation but now even he couldn't get me out of it so the silent treatment was pointless unless i just wanted to make my dad upset and that was only 20 percent of my goal the other 80 was to let me out of the situation. Too late for that!

The doorbell rang and i answered it. "Hey i realized a mile close to your house that i left my phone at home so we have to get it before picking up the others." She said. "Okay." I said. When we got there she opened the door to her big house and it was pitch black but as soon as colleen flipped on the lights i heard people scream surprise and a big banner that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! was on the wall. "Aww i didn't want a party but thanks guys!" I said as my friends approached. "We were not letting you not have a party!" Lindsey said. "Now let's go have some fun!" She said and we ran into the crowd of people and danced to my favorite music.

Our little group still slept over so the next morning i woke up in Colleen's huge room and i found a text from Kyle.

KYLE: I picking you up at 7 tonight for a birthday date!

ME: KK cant wait! :)

Yeah i lied what else did you expect. Everyone else was already awake. "I have a date tonight yay!" I said sarcastically to anyone who was listening. I was only truly honest about Kyle with these 4 girls and i texted them about him constantly. "You need to tell your dad!" Lindsey said. I sighed "No! Look i gotta go thanks for the party!" I said grabbing my stuff "I'm sorry Dani i'm just worried about you." I sighed. "I know thank you you are all great friends i really do need to go though." I said. "Need a ride?" Colleen asked. "Yes please." I said and we walked out to her car.

That night i wore another skimpy outfit that i hated so Kyle would be satisfied. I went downstairs to wait when Lindsey texted me

LINDSEY: What if i told your dad? Then i would be the one telling him not you!

ME: I don't think that will work but i'll think about it.

The doorbell rang and i answered it. This was starting to feel like a routine. I walked out to Kyle's over expensive car, got in, we drove to dinner, and we talked and i pretended to like him. I felt my phone buzz while talking to Kyle "I'm going to go to the restroom." I said getting up and taking my purse with me. I went into the stall and opened my purse. It wasn't in there. I dug and dug but it wasn't in my purse 'Crap' I thought knowing that if he saw my phone he would likely go through it and see my texts with Lindsey and that would not be good.

I walked back into the room and my phone was sitting next to my bowl of soup. I looked at Kyle for signs of anger and i didn't see any. I let out a breath. "Come on Dani you haven't seen my house yet!" He said standing up i followed fear creeping in my mind. I didn't want to be alone with him where no one could witness anything he does.

We arrived at house and as soon as i walked in he snatched my purse out of my hands and grabbed my phone getting in my face "I saw your texts!" He said. 'So he did go through my phone!' i thought. "You thinking about pulling some crap on me having your friend tell you're dad!" He turned and chucked my phone at the wall it hit with a hard THUD, made a huge dent in the wall and shattered. I backed up until i couldn't back up any more. "I'll show you what happens when you try to do crap like that!" He said. I squeaked as he pulled his fist back and punched me hard. Several times.
