Chapter 24: Fans

Authors note: There are more fake singers in this chapter. I'm trying to stay away from making it like a fan fiction as much as possible.

*About a month later*

I was sitting in my room with my guitar on my leg and i was bent over writing lyrics occasionally sitting up to strum a few chords. My right now blonde hair (yeah i died it for Sammy) hung over my guitar as i wrote. Then Lily burst through "Oh. My. Gosh. Dani! Guess what gig i just got you!" I laughed at her enthusiasm. I absolutely loved this girl. "What?" I asked. "You are opening up for... Drum roll please... Nicole Polar!" My jaw dropped to the floor. "Nu uh!" I said. Lily nodded. I squealed and put my guitar behind me jumping up "Lily you are the BEST!" I squealed pulling her into a hug. "I know you love me." She said putting the back of her hand under her chin and smiling. I laughed and elbowed her "Heck yea!" I hugged her again. "How did you even manage that her tour starts in two weeks?!" I asked. "Well one of her acts dropped out and she had to find someone quick so I just sent her one of your demos and she fell in love it was that simple. You guys are really good!" She said. "Lily i could kiss you!" I screeched. "Uh please don't." She said. I giggled and playfully hit her shoulder "Suit yourself! Let's meet the girls at Starbucks and tell them." I said. We texted the rest of the band, and we left.

Lindsey was first. "Lily you did not get us a gig to open up at Nicole Polar's concert!" She squealed running in. Lily and i exchanged looks "How?" Lindsey laughed. "She tweeted!" I yanked out my phone as the rest of the band arrived. Lily told them while i opened up twitter. The girls squealed and hugged each other but i was to busy trying not to break down right there. The tweets were mean.

'She's only famous because her daddy is a music producer'

'Dani is so ugly'

'Those girls have no talent it's all auto tune'

'Dani's really fat. Lke srsly how is someone that fat'

'Aww ruined it for me i'll just have to arrive late so i don't have to hear that awful music'

I clenched my jaw and then i saw positive ones.

'Don't hate just cause those girls have talent and you don't'

'Don't listen to em' girls you guys are super talented and i love your band'

'Your band is superb'

'Can't wait to see you guys in concert it's gonna be so much better with you guys opening'

I let out a happy sigh as i realized there was less hate than positive ones. I looked up at my best friends who were laughing and drinking the white girls favorite drink and enjoying themselves. 'You know what?' i thought 'Who cares about what random strangers say these are the only people that matter' I nudged Lily. "You rock you know that?" I asked. She smiled "Thanks." I looked at the rest of the table "You guys no what this calls for right?" I asked. They all grinned "Sleepover!" I yelled so loud everyone in Starbucks turned to me "Oh my gosh you guys are the believers!" a girl yelled. Then she ran over with another little girl and an older woman. "Can we get a picture please?" She asked. I smiled and nodded "Course!" The girls and i all got up from the table Lily stayed. "Come on lil!" I said smiling. She grinned and got up. We all made silly faces while the older woman, there mother probably, took the picture. "Oh my gosh thank you so much!" the younger one squealed. "No problem what are your names?" Becca asked. "Natalie and Courtney." The older one said. "Those are beautiful names." Colleen commented. "Thanks." They said blushing. "We hope to see you at Nicole's concert." I said. "Oh you will!" The older one said. "See ya." They said leaving. "We have fans." I stated. The girls laughed and we left Starbucks. Little did i know the famous life wasn't all it was thought to be and i would soon be finding that out.
