Catalina walked into the 99th Precinct with her latte in her one hand and her laptop bag in her other. She placed her bag on her desk as she took a seat.
" Hey Cals." Desi greeted as she took her seat on her desk that was just across hers.
The two friends caught up for a few minutes before they saw Jake and Amy walking in with two perps and put them in the holding cell. She noticed Jake do a little victory dance before making his way to her desk.
" Guess who?" Jake said playfully with his hands over her eyes.
" Hmmmm Rihanna?" She answered with a smirk as Desi shook her head at the interaction.
" For real. Its obviously me." Jake huffed as he took his hands off her eyes and walked around her chair to face her.
" Hello Jake. I see you're in a good mood. Got another arrest?" Callie asked the brunette.
" Yep and that means I'm even more ahead than Amy." He answered with with a smile.
" I'm not sure that's grammatically correct but ok. Then you do you boo." Callie responded before making her attention back to her work.
Jake went back to his desk and started working on his arrest report when Terry called everyone to the brief room.

"Yes I did crack the case. So Santiago will you do the honor." Jake stated with pride
" I hate this." Amy complained as she added another arrest of the board for Jake.
" Ah yeah, and you're just gonna add one. I'm winning. It's a good feeling." Jake continued as the room filled with applause.
" Enjoy it while it lasts." Amy... as she sat down.
" Yeah I will." Jake responded making Callie roll her eyes at her friend.
Terry asked Jake to update him on the Morgenthau investigation. Callie had zoned out for a few moments until she realised that everyone was leaving.

Callie had been working on a case she was helping Adelaide with when she heard Jake talking, well making fun of the new Captain, he had been doing a bad robot accent when the new Captain appeared behind him. Not looking pleased.
" Is that what you think?" The captain questions as Jake turned around to face him.
Callie furrowed her eyebrows, she knew this man from somewhere.
" Heyyy. New captain alert. You must the the new CO, I'm Jake Peralta great to meet you" Jake said as he chuckled nervously.
" Don't let me interrupt you were describing what kind if person I'm going to be. I'd like you to finish." The Captain insisted.
" That's not necessary." Jake said before seeing the look on the mans face
" Or I could recap. Very quickly sure. Let's see, I think I said some joke about you're a washed up pencil pusher." He continued
" Now do the robot voice." The Captain insisted again
"Wha.." Jake responded in confusion
"The robot voice you were doing when you implied that I'm a rule following robot. I want to hear it again."
" Meep... morp...zarp...robot."
" That's a terrible Robot voice. The next time I see you I would like you to be wearing a neck tie"
" Actually the old captain didn't care if we were ties."
" Well your new Captain does.More importantly he cares if you follow his direct orders. Everyone, I'm your new Commanding officer. Captain Ray Holt." Ray stated as he walked to the direction of his new office and facing us.
" Speech!" Amy insisted.
" That was my speech."
" Short and sweet." Amy nodded in understanding before calling Terry to his office.
Callie realized where she recognized him from. He was her aunts so called 'nemesis' that she mentioned every now and then.
" Are you seriously trying to get onto the new Captains nerves already?" Callie questioned Jake as she walked to his desk.
" Relax. I'll be fine. But I didn't realize that you cared so much." Jake responded with his signature smirk making Callie roll her eyes.
" I care because you're my friend I don't want your immature ass getting yourself fired." She scoffed making Jake gasps dramatically.
" Immature you don't say." He said in his 'british' accent.
" Whatever Jake. He's a good captain I've heard good thinks about him. Okay so maybe you should relax." Calle concluded before going back to her desk.
This was kinda rushed but oh well here chapter 1
