The aw-391 chapter is still in progress!

Meanwhile, any hermitcraft fans reading this may have some ATUS! Grian angst!

Ever since Grian left hermitcraft when they saved Joe, he never left his room. He never wanted to leave but it's for the safety of the hermits. When he broke the barrier, the Watchers, Braid and Crown, gain access to the world and could destroy it if Grian didn't come back.

Just like how they destroyed Grian's old world, Evo.

And how they killed his old friends, the Evolutionists, in front of his very eyes. He could still imagine their faces when they're being burned alive.

Taurtis, Pearl, Zee....

He missed them so much...
Especially Taurtis.

How long has it been since the Watcher had destroyed Evo?

He didn't remember, he enjoyed his life in his refuge world, Hermitcraft. They took his mind off his problems with the Watchers after he'd escape those tyrant beings.

Back to reality, the blond boy curls up in a sitting position on his bed. He refused to wear his Watcher mask, he didn't want anything to do with the Watchers. Speaking of the Watchers, Braid and Crown had given him duties to attend to when he made the decision to stay in the Watcher's world.

He never did them.

Crown gave him a few days for readjustment since he's been a player for a while and had forgotten how to use his powers. He wanted to stay a player. Hell, he would rather be a player or even a Listener, as long as he's not one of them.

Because he didn't want to wear the Watcher mask, the two wicked beings has been taunting Grian into giving up his humanity. He has been holding onto them, denying to be stripped off of his player status.

Although they only do it when they're not busy laughing at the Hermit's useless attempt to ignite the Watcher portal, their taunting were ruthless. The taunting were meant to make Grian accept the Watchers, but all they do is reminded Grian of his mistakes, occasionally making illusions to replay how his old world got destroyed. They weren't trying to console Grian to become a Watcher, they were trying to break him into becoming one.

The doorknob twists and slowly creaks open.

In come two humanoid beings with dark purple skin and white hair. Both have a pair of majestic wisteria wings and they're almost thrice taller than him. One is wearing a crowned Watcher mask and the other has a Watcher mask that is tipped to one side.

"When will you finally accept that you are a Watcher, Diamond?" Crown says, their usual sharp voice cutting through him. "When you realise that kidnapping a player from their world and turning them into a Watcher is wrong," Grian snarls, disgusted by the nickname they gave him.

Braid, the other Watcher, laughs. "Trying to guilt trip us, Diamond? It's not going to work, we're not players. We don't have human feelings," They say. "But who's fault that I was turned into a Watcher against my will?" The blond shouts at the smaller of the Watchers.
