THIRD PERSON POV

It was the day before the Inter-High preliminaries and it seemed like everything Kumi taught to the duo still wasn't going as planned. Most of the times, Kageyama and Hinata would just bicker in the middle of a toss, simply because Kageyama blamed himself for an inaccurate toss while Hinata blamed himself for being dependent on Kageyama's sets.

"CAN YOU TWO SHUT UP FOR ATLEAST A MINUTE?" Kumi barked, breathing deeply before calming down.

"She's scary," shuddered Asahi as he watched the scene.

"It's hot," Noya smirked.

"I want to be scolded by her," Tanaka added as he high fived with the libero.

Kumi pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration, sighing hopelessly as the duo continued yelling.

"Don't stress yourself over their dumbness." Tsukishima said behind her, just enough for the duo to hear and face the lanky blonde with scowls.

"Now they're on the same page," Kumi sighed again, patting Tsukishima's shoulder. "Thanks for getting their attention," he nodded in response before walking away.

An hour has passed and everyone has been training to their extent. Everything Kumi taught them, they gave their best. As Coach Ukai gathered the players for a meeting, Kumi walked back to the bench and searched for something in her bag.

She finally found it and took out the object, walking towards Takeda-sensei and Shimizu.

"Are you ready to watch them play tomorrow, Kumi?" Takeda asked the girl.

Kumi nodded agressively, "Wonder how they'll be doing. A-anyway," she stepped infront of him, head bent low as she extended her arms out with an envelope in her hand.

"What is this?" asked Takeda with a confused look, slowly taking it from her.

"Please accept it." Kumi said sincerely.

Takeda-sensei opened the envelope, his eyes widening as he counted the amount of money inside it. "W-what is this for?"

"For the team, sensei. It's just a little help, please accept it."

"This is too much..." Takeda said softly. "I think everything are already taken care of for tomorrow..."

Kumi smiled, raising her head. "Then use it in the upcoming leagues, training camps, practice matches, anything that involves the team financially."

"R-really?" Takeda-sensei and Shimizu-san both held the same grateful expression.

Kumi nodded with a smile, "Please accept it."

"Thank you, Kumi-chan!" Takeda-sensei bowed.

"Anytime," chuckled the brown-haired girl.

KUMI AYAME's POV

The game is approaching less than 24 hours now, and it will be the first time in a while that I will be seeing an official match after a year. I was just as nervous and excited as the players, seeing that I've always feel the same when I still used to play.

I sat on the bench, patiently waiting for the meeting to finish. After a few minutes, everyone decided to end the day and rest.

"I still can't get it right!" Hinata growled to himself as he and Kageyama approached me.

"Most of my tosses failed." Kageyama muttered beside me.

I chuckled at their rants, getting their attention. "You don't have to force yourself to use it tomorrow if you're not yet comfortable. But with time, you'll eventually get it."
