"I can't wait to get out of this sucky highschool PE room for good." I say to my friend Zoey.

"Lucky, my brother has two more year here so I will be coming back for his performances,"

"That sucks,"

"I know," She slid back on her cap and started to line up for graduation. "What college are you going to?"

I sighed. "I wan't accepted into Yale, and my parents want me to stay close to home, so I think I'm going to the university of Tennessee,"

"Wow, that is close,"

We walked down hall holding our scrolls as the principal called our name one by one.

"Zoey Chapelmen,"

"That's me! Got to go Courtney!"

"Wait! What college are you going to?"

"Zoey Chapelman been accepted to Harvard and is excited to be learning harder studies." The principal said as Zoey walked up to collect her hugs.

"Next we have Courtney Barlow! Courtney has decided to to go to the university of Tennessee and continue cheering for them as well! Courtney, can we count on you to be one of our cheerleaders?"

"Yes sir you can,"

"Great! Now Bridgette Sunshine got a scholarship to the same school Courtney is going to and....." I walked down as Bridgette waved her hand at me.

'At least I would know someone going to college with me,' I thought.

"Duncan Nelson has gotten a full time scholarship to the university of Tennessee for playing a great football season!"

"You go dude!" Geoff said as I high-fived him. He and I were best friends and he was going to Auburn instead of with me.

"Geoff Wilson has decided to go to Auburn!" My principal said as Geoff came skating on the stage.

"Nice man,"

"And the last of the night, Heather Dupenzie will be attending two colleges."

"I will be using my halftime scholarship at California and then go to my other halftime scholarship to Tennessee for cheering!"

"Did you hear that dude! Your crush since kindergarten is going to the same highschool as you!" Geoff said nudging me in the elbow.

"Stop it man, I will be fine."

"Okay, Okay, meet up at every July, we can go to orange beach and surf!"

"Oh, so you chose surfing over your best friend,"

"Man, you're not my best friend, you're my second best friend. Honolulu is my best friend," Somehow I wasn't offended. Geoff's surfboard was his prized possession. Like how my reputation is mine.

"The sad thing about this whole leaving year is that only two of you wanted to stay in Maine!" The principal wrapped up. "Thank you Anne Maria Sweetkins and DJ Duke for staying in Maine!"

"No problem Mrs Gabby! I wouldn't leave you and my mama even if I wanted too!"

"This poof can't travel well. And only one brand makes it extra poofy. It might be hard to find it in the Bronx!"

"Have a wonderful college life everyone! I love you all!" She said as Geoff and I threw off our hats and walked outside.

We did our last bro hug and got into our cars.
