A tall man came into the room and Duncan closed the door.

"Why you son of a bitch!"

Then somebody slapped another person.

"Don't talk like that to your grandfather!"

"Why did you have to do that?! The person that I am in love with threatened to kill herself unless we become a couple and the moment that I'm about to tell her my answer you pull me out of the room?! She could die any second and you are pulling the plug on her!"

All of a sudden, I get out of the hospital bed.

"Courtney, stop, don't get out of the bed. Courtney!" The doctor said. I pulled the needles out of my arms and opened the door with weakened arms and blood dripping from them. "Court—," But i slammed the door behind me.

"What type of father are you?"

"Courtney, stay out of this,"

"No Duncan. I will not let this horrible person treat you like this."

"Why did you think that I let him?"

I looked at Duncan and then looked down at my hands which were covered in blood. Duncan looked at me and walked back into the room. I looked at his father and stuck up the middle finger.

"Come on Courtney, we need to get you better."
