Eye Doctor
8:27 am
Courtney Barlow"Will you please tell me what this is Miss Barlow."
"It's Ms Barlow and it's of course Perry the Platypus!"
The doctor looked at me and then looked at Duncan who had his fingers pressed against his forehead.
"Has she had any miss haps lately?"
"Well. Her friend did make her drunk. But that's all I know." Duncan replied.
"That couldn't cause sight damage. Hmm. Well Ms Barlow, I'm afraid you will have to get glasses."
"Sure. As long as their not that nerdy."
"Now Courtney let the doc—," He started to say as if I refused.
"I said sure. Don't take me out of it."
The doctor placed gray squared glasses on my eyes and everything started to clear up.
"Now, can you tell me what this is?"
"Ohh. It's a frog, not a gummy worm. And that's a poop emoji not Perry the Platypus!"
"Good job. You two may leave now."

Duncan Nelson"Hurry up Duncan! I don't want to be late!"
"Well too bad Princess, school started when we got to the eye doctor."
"Crap!"
I waved her goodbye and got back in my car. Time to do what I wanted to do. Skip school and get a piercing.

Courtney BarlowI opened the door with my keys and closed the door.
"Duncan." I whispered under my breath.
I slid the door to the balcony to see Duncan sitting on the curb of the road. I pushed my glasses up and made my way down to Duncan.
"Hey,"
"Hey," He said like his tongue was numb.
I looked at him and held his nose until his mouth opened to breathe.
"YOU GOT A TONGUE PIERCING,"
"Want one." He pulled out a piercing gun from his pocket and took a old earring from out of his ear. "I stole the gun."
"I can see that." I paused for a moment and looked down at my acrylic nails. "Do I look ugly? You know. With the glasses."
"Why would you think that?"
I started to tear up so I leaned on his shoulder. "I don't know. Because with my terrible traits plus the glasses it just adds up to ugly."
"You're not Ugly Courtney. See. Let's take a selfie to prove it." He pulled out his phone and placed it in front of us. He stuck out his tongue so I did too. We looked at and laughed. Then he looked at me and smiled. His feet were in the road, so when a car came by, they would always do a WIERD curve to not try to run over his feet.
"Um Duncan. If I told you that I um. Was in need of—,"
"OWWWWWWWW," I saw that a car had ran over his feet. And when he tried to bite back the scream he bit the piercing, so now it was bleeding.
"DUNCAN," I freaked out so I might have had a little panic attack. "Hold on, let me go and get help from that bar across the street."
I ran across and then all of a sudden everything went black
