What could go wrong?

So many things.

Let's just say it was a disaster.

It was all good. The way back wasn't even awkward. But when we got back it got bad again.

*Flashback*

"So, did you have fun Rae?"

"No."

"What do you mean you didn't have fun? It was a blast!"

"If by 'blast' you mean only fun for you than yes."

"You just don't want to admit you had a good time."

"I didn't." She said looking away.

"Come on Raven. Admit it already. You love hanging out with me." I smiled at her genuinely. She didn't return it. She just scowled and walked off. Probably to her room.

"Idiot." She muttered under her breath.

Once again I was alone. What did I do wrong? I thought, desperately trying to figure out what set her off.

*End of flashback*

I feel bad for not apologizing but I didn't want to be yelled at again.

I was so sure that she enjoyed herself. I guess I was wrong.

Maybe I should try a different approach.

There has to be some way to make her see me as more than the idiot who she doesn't want anything to do with.

Maybe I should just leave her alone. I thought for a moment.

Nah.

With the others still gone I had a chance. I know they would make fun of me. Tell me my plan to spend time with Raven was stupid. But they're not here.

I need to find out more about her. Despite knowing her for years, I still didn't actually know her. Sure I knew a lot about her, but not everything. I feel like I'm missing something really important.

So I decided to sneak into her room. Probably not one of by best plans. I just need to see her. I turned into a fly and snuck into her room.

She wasn't there. I was dissapointed. I guess I could do some snooping, I thought transforming back.

Her room was dark, yet aluring at the same time. Her bed was in the center on her room, surrounded by her books and potions.

I turned back to her bed. I've always wanted to lay on it. I looked around. The coast was still clear. Maybe just for a minute. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity after all.

I walked quietly to her bed and got on. I wrapped myself in her sheets. Her scent was so strong here. I drunk it in with pleasure.

That's when I heard footsteps. She was coming back! I need to hide.

I didn't have much time to think this through before the door burst open. I dove under her bed in a panic. I silently prayed that she didn't see me. If she knew I was here she would kill me.

She came closer. I held my breath, ready to be caught. I guess today is a good day to die.

When she reached the bed she stopped. She was inches away from my hiding place.

Please don't find me. Please don't find me.

I let out a silent sigh of relief as she flopped down on her bed. She didn't know I was here yet. Thank goodness. I still had a chance.

I started to think of a plan to escape. The best I could think of was wait until she leaves again or goes to sleep. Whichever comes first.

"Why do you even bother?" I looked up, startled. Instantly, I knew she was talking about me.

What does she mean by that? Does she really think she's not worth it?
