Ugh.

Just go to sleep.

I tossed and turned, trying so hard to dose off. Just for a second.

I looked up.

Darkness.

My thoughts wandered aimlessly until, once again, they found the purple haired empath.

I can't get her out of my head.

I thought back to what happend just hours before.

I was upset.

She came to cheer me up.

Me!

That means she has to care about me a little bit right?

I looked deep into her eyes, getting lost in them.

When I leaned closer she didn't back away. Maybe she was confused. Still, just for a moment I thought that maybe she wanted it too.

But I know she doesn't feel the same way. After all, who would love a green freak like me.

When she said she had a 'better idea' I hoped she would want to go on a date, but sadly she just wants to go to the movies as friends.

Sure she didn't exactly say that, but I know that's what she meant.

I can't help wishing for something more.

It kills me everytime I see her. This feeling I get. I would say butterflies in my stomach, but it's more than that.

My feelings for her are so much deeper than a mere crush.

But maybe there's still a chance to make my fantasy a reality.

A way to make her see how much she means to me. To show her that I'll always be there to protect her. (Not that she needs it) To love her.

I quickly got ready for the movie by dressing in semi-casual clothes and headed off.

Raven said she'd meet me there.

For once, I was a couple of minutes early.

I decided to buy us the couples popcorn from the concession.

I wish we were a couple.

Then I went into the theatre.

Raven was already waiting of course.

"Hey Rae, mind if I take a seat?" I asked, a smile plastered on my face.

"Just get over here you big goof." She motioned next to her, smiling as well.

I tired to watch the movie, but my eyes kept going back to Raven.

Her eyes were glued to the screen, waiting in anticipation for what happend next. Who knew she liked movies this much.

I looked her over some more. She was a rare beauty.

I love the way her hair falls just above her shoulders. How her eyes seem to shine when she talks about something she enjoys.

She turned to look at me. I quickly turned back towards the movie, my face heating up.

A few minutes later I felt something on my shoulder.

I looked down and smiled when I saw Raven's head resting comfortably there.

My heart warmed at the jesture.

I turned back to the movie feeling better than ever.

I grabbed a handful of popcorn. Or at least tried to. When I put my hand in there it lightly touched Raven's.

I was going to pull away, but my hand lingered. I couldn't help it. I didn’t want move away.

I smiled to myself. I was ecstatic. I could just feel the electricity between us, wishing she felt it too.

My warm hand, lightly resting on her cold one, felt incredible. We were opposites, yet she's all I wanted.

All I ever wanted.

I wish this moment could last forever.
