This will probably be thr only chapter in Raven's P.O.V.

-----

I've been spending more and more time with Beastboy. Yesterday he convinced me to play video games with him.

Honestly, I would do anything for him. I would never tell him of course, but I care deeply about him.

Starfire entered the common room, where I was sitting, sipping my tea.

Times like this I'm glad no one can read my mind.

"Friend Raven, can I ask you the question?" She asked sitting down across from me.

"Sure Star."

"How are you friend?" I could tell that wasn't her question, but answered anyway.

Star nodded.

She looked at me for a moment. Bit her lip, then looked down.

"You can ask me anything?"

"I know my English is still a bit off so I do not know what everything means."

"No problem Star. I'll be happy to answer any question that you might have."

She smiled.

"What is the rave?" She paused for a moment. "You see, I have received an invitation and do not know if I should decline."

I opened my mouth to respond when Robin walked up to her and whispered something in her ear. She nodded and motioned for me to get up.

I did so.

She grabbed my arm and dragged me over to her room, needing help no doubt. She sure asked the wrong person.

I squinted at how bright her room was and not just the fact that it was extremely pink. The whole room was well bright. I guess It's because I'm used to my dark one, but still.

Starfire came out of her closet. Holding two nausitatingly pink outfits. She asked which one I preferred.

"Star, I think you have the wrong girl."

She nodded.

"Truthfully, this is not the only reason I called you in here." More like dragged.

She looked at me nervously, as if she was embarrised.

What is up with her today?

"Could you accompany boyfriend Robin and I."

Translation: would I like to be a third wheel while while you go have fun with your date.

Normally I would say no in an instant. Not ever needing to think twice, but today was different.

Today I actually considered it.

Maybe it was the look in her eyes. Or maybe part of me actually wanted to go.

Either way I was going.

I slowly nodded my head. Her eyes lit up instantly.

"Do you need to borrow clothes?"

I shook my head.

"I have just the thing."

***
When we arrived the place was packed. I'll never understand how people call this a good time.

I don't do crowds.

I ended up sitting at the bar, watching my friends have fun. People came and went.

I silently wished for it all to be over so I could just go home.

Why did I even want to come anyway?

"Hey Rae."

I whipped my head around, hoping I wasn't just imagining it.

There he was, handsome as ever.

"Nice tie." I said smirking.

Although his tux was black, he wore a green tie with it. Which is not surprising at all, considering.

"You know you're digging it." I rolled my eyes.

"You're quite the catch yourself." I could feel my face heat up.

I reached back to pull up my nonexistent hood.

I quickly looked down at my outfit to try to hide my face.

I felt weird wearing this. I wore a black dress, laced up in the back with dark blue material.

Let's just say this was not my everyday attire.

I looked back up at Beastboy. He was smiling widely.

"Care to dance with me Rae?"

He held out his hand.

I grabbed it without hesitation.

He guided me to the dance floor. It was less crouded now.

I stared at the floor, finally realizing what I've gotten myself in to.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't dance."

"I can teach you."

"It's not that I can't dance, I just don't."

"Well maybe you could just this once." His dark green eyes shimmered with hope.

I sighed in defeat.

"Only for you Garfield."

He grinned, his little fang hanging out.

We danced and danced. I enjoyed the warmth of his embrace.

Now I'm glad I came.

Wait a second.

"How'd you get in here anyway?" I asked, only slightly suspicious.

"I'm crashing the party!" He said giving me a mistevious grin.

"But that doesn't mean I can't have some fun first." He smirked.

"What are you-"

I was cut off as he dipped me.

It was fast, yet enjoyable.

He looked a little embarrised afterwards.

I smiled at him, letting him know that it was okay.

This was amazing.

We were amazing.
