Eyes flickered open, being greeted
by the neon glow of "city" lights
(even though it wasn't technically
a city). Invisible hands held her
close, keeping her warm. Unfamiliar whispers echoed through Lissa's head, keeping her awake.

❝we can run away together, leave this place and never look back.❞

Blue eyes, a gentle touch and whispers of a forbidden future.
Her skin felt cold all of a sudden
as a tear streamed down her eye.
With a swipe of her finger, she
caught the tear and stared at it.
She scoffed, looking out to the
bustle of the planet.

It was foolish, really. They were
only children when he made that
promise to her. So innocent, so
pure. Things changed quicker
than she expected, those pure
eyes witnessed tragedies far
greater than anyone could
imagine. So yeah, it was foolish

But it didn't hurt to dream.
