This is set to when Star and Marco are in elementary school. Enjoy!!
"Bye honey, enjoy your day at school" Marco got out of his car. He started walking into the school, waving back at his mom. "Bye Mom!"
As Marco walked inside the school, he looked out of the corner of his eye and saw a girl with long blonde hair getting out of a car.
Hm. I've never seen her before.
Marco shrugged it off and went to find his friends before the morning flag assembly started.
*bell rings*
Marco and his friend, Tom, were talking in their quad table waiting for the teacher to start. The teacher walked in, next to her, the same blonde girl from this morning. The teacher smiled. "Ahem students." No one was paying attention. "Clap once if you can hear me." The teacher started. Clap. "Clap twice if you can hear me." Clap. Clap. It was quiet.
"Guys, we have a new classmate joining us from now on." She looked down at the girl. "Why don't you introduce yourself sweetie." The blonde stepped forward a bit. "Hi. My name is Star Johansen. I moved here from Mewni Elementary School. I hope we can all be friends." Star smiled, giving the classroom a happy radiant vibe.
Marco just stared at her, interested for some reason.
"Why don't you sit in Marco's quad. Marco, raise your hand." Marco raised his hand, making eye contact with Star.
"Tom," the teacher continued, "Go sit at Janna's table. Tom whined, "But Mrs. Pat (just go with it) Janna scares me." Out in the corner, you hear the girl laugh.
"Tom, please go sit there for now. I want Marco to guide Star in class for a while." Tom sighed, getting up from his seat, and walked over to Janna's table.
Marco gave his friend a sympathetic look before noticing that Star was already seated at his table.
"Hi. I'm Marco"
She gave a soft smile. "I'm Star." She then turned a bit and paid attention to the teacher.
"Ok class, so yesterday . . ." Marco was zoning Mrs. Pat out. From the corner of his eye, he glanced at Star. Her hair was really long. She had soft ocean blue eyes that sparkled. He couldn't stop looking at her. She must have noticed because she tensed a bit.
"Ok class, line up for recess at the door," said Mrs. Pat, breaking Marco out of his trance. He looked at the clock and saw that a full hour had passed.
Was I really looking at her for that long.
He looked back at Star's seat and saw she was already at the line. In fact, everyone was waiting for Marco.
"Marco, we're waiting for you." stated Mrs. Pat. He quickly gathered his snack and went to the line. Once the line was outside the class, the teacher dismissed the class to go on their own.
*recess*
Marco and Tom were eating their snacks at the benches. Tom was detailing Marco with the horrible things Janna did to him in class, but Marco wasn't paying attention though. He was focused on a certain blonde sitting by herself. She was eating a bag of chips, looking at the floor.
"Marco stop looking at your crush and pay attention to me." Tom exclaimed. "WHAT" Marco yelled, "I don't have a crush, girls are weird." "Then why do you keep looking at Star?" Marco blushed. "I'm not looking at her. But we should go talk to her, she's by herself."
Tom stood up from the bench, "You can go talk to her, I'm gonna go get a bag of chips before recess is over." Tom walked away leaving Marco by himself.
"Ok Diaz, go talk to her." he said to himself. He got up from the bench and started walking toward Star.
Star noticed someone in front of her and looked up and waved "Oh, hi Marco." Marco hadn't said anything. He had his hands by his sides and was frozen. "Uh Marco? Star said, confused.
"You're pretty!" Marco blurted out. He immediately covered his mouth, eyes widened. So was Star's. "U-uh I mean, do you wanna play on the playground?" he asked awkwardly.
Star smiled widely, "Sure!" She threw her trash away and walked with Marco to the playground.
And that was the start of a beautiful friendship.
