Chapter 15- Encounter with the King

"I told you to stay closer to me Khaliana, that's an order from your King." He said pulling her again to him.

Now he's declaring it in my face.

His the King!?

Lieutenant Geordo is the king of the Kingdom of Etherna?

She just stand there with their body so close while her eyes was fixed to him.

The sun is now rising, she can now see the beautiful beast standing so close to her and it's not a good idea for her.

"Bring me my horse." He asked one of his soldier, he was still clutching his hands on her waist.

"I can manage myself from here Lieutenant, I know you have to check your soldiers for now, my cut was just small and it's not that deep, I can really stand, I can even run if you want me to." She said to him assuring him that she's alright.

I don't want to call him my King, it's too obstinate and him being so close to me made my heart beats fast, I can't stand him near me.

"Did you hear what I said earlier Khaliana? Do you want me to say it again?" he asked irritated.

"I heard you but....." she didn't finish her words because he cut him off.

"No more buts Khaliana, I don't want you to defy me." He said closing more the distance between them.

She can hear the beating of her heart because of his closeness, she can even smell his minty fresh breath. His eyes were pulling her into somewhere else, it's too magical and his body being so close made every part of her body electrified.

My heart is not behaving well with his presence. What is happening to me?

They were locking eyes to each other but she averted her gaze first. She cannot stand his amazing eyes poking into hers.

"What did he do to you?" he asked.

"Huh?" she asked back. She didn't know what he mean by his question.

Her mind was clouded by his presence.

"King Credor, what did he do to you while I am not around?" he asked looking into her eyes.

She stayed silent for a while. She was thinking to lie to him but her mouth just told him the truth.

"He was asking me to come with him to his kingdom, he wanted me to be his woman, that's why I run from him." she told him the truth.

"That bastard, how dare him pushed a woman to be his!" he hissed.

"Thank you for saving me earlier." She said shyly.

What is happening to me? Why I am so shy towards him? Get yourself together Khaliana! She scolded herself.

"I think I need to be back to the village now, Lily will be worried if she will not see me, I must be with her right now." She said breaking the ice between them. She wanted to be casual not shy.

"Why are you so rushed to be out of my grip Khaliana?" he asked furiously looking into her eyes.

"I......am... not on rus....." she said stammering looking at him.

They were interrupted when the soldier with the king's horse arrived.

"Let's go." He said. He didn't wait for her to continue her words.

He lift her using her strong hand and let her hopped on the horse's back.

She thought, she will ride the horse alone but she was stunned when the king climb on the same horse with her. He was at her back, he was gripping the horse's strings with both hands while hugging her tightly.
