They were all surprised upon hearing the growl inside the cell. Each of the cell were echoing different kind of rumble. It seems that the beasts were caged below the ground of the cell. Their roars were found in the deep part of the prison. They were rambling to get out.
Does this mean I am really that woman?
"Therefore, you're the true heir, you have his blood, you have just awaken them!" the woman without scar said as she looked up to her way.
"Anyone can wake up a dragon if you let those beast sip their blood, so don't be so ridiculous on thinking that I am that person." She uttered.
I must deny it, I don't know what they will do to me if I accept it. They might as well control me or hold me hostage to defeat Kingdom of Etherna.
"Just accept your fate woman! Do not be so shallow because the truth is in front!" the other woman said.
"Why are you so adamant upon the truth woman? You must be happy because all the attention is on you. You have all the love, fame, treasure, kingdom, and the throne for yourself. Why so reluctant upon the prophesy?" she continued.
She became silent upon hearing them.
She locked eyes with them then started to talk.
"Why? Do you really want to know why I despise this prophesy?" she said with a mocking smirk.
"Yes, we want to know." They both said.
"Because this is the root of all my suffering! I was separated from my aunt and uncle, I don't know where they are right now, my best friend was killed before my eyes, rampage was everywhere, kingdom despise other kingdom, kings killing innocent people and using dark magic and beast to won against the others. Many have been suffering from hunger, famine, plague, thirst, and unidentified things were happening everywhere. I almost died because of that prophesy you are talking about! It was the beginning of everything. That is why I don't want to be part of it. I don't know how to handle each circumstances once that prophesy will be proven. I don't want to be the end of this era. I am just a nobody, I don't have power to protect those who are in danger, I don't have the treasure and money to feed those who are in hunger. I am an epitome of nothingness! That is why, do not feed me with those false fallacy, I will not accept any of it." she said holding the tears in her eyes upon recalling her experiences.
I must deny it no matter what!
"It is too late for you dear, you are already chosen. You have his blood. It is your fate, so no matter how you will fight it, there will be no other route for your escape." The scarred woman said.
"I felt pity for you dear, you have suffered a lot, but your suffering is not enough!" the other said.
"Why do you despise me then?" she asked.
"Because, your bloodline is the cause of our distinction!" "Your great king grandfather annihilate us. We tried to escape from his wrath, that is why we are still here but only few of us survived. We lurk in the darkness and waited for the right time in order to defeat your kind. That is why, we captured and bewitch these dragons to manipulate them then defeat you with our own hands."
Her eyes were poking to Khaliana as she uttered those words, they cut her skin again and she winced in pain. She groan as she felt the pain in her whole body.
"You will suffer because you are his blood." The woman without scar said as she cut her again.
Cut upon cut. They didn't spare her even just a minute of rest. They were slowly torturing her with small cuts in her body.
