Chapter 17- The Prophesied Queen of Etherna

King Geordo’s Pov

“Lock her up anywhere or tie her tightly on a tree until she recognize her fault!” he said.

He was so furious at the moment, this woman has no respect towards him. After what happened at his cabin, he promised to himself to inflict her with his wrath.

Khaliana caught her attention during his visit at the training camp. He saw her running alone in the forest and her scent lingers into his system that was why he followed her. He saw how she managed to kill the rogues and it made him amazed by the woman.
For him, she was unique and mysterious at the same time. He helped her at the last second on defeating the rogues and brought her back to the camp.

He visit her again but he was so mad when he saw her talking to Benedict casually. They were close and he doesn’t like that feeling that is why he ordered to lock her into the cell for her punishment. After that day, he became busy because of the war at the north, he doesn’t have time to check on her again.

They met again inside the forest. He heard her voice that time and her scent was all over the place. He saw her being attacked by King Credor and it made him furious. However, after saving her, she still managed to ignore him and walk away from him. 

She must be punished for not submitting to me!

He was back to reality when the soldiers came running and caught the woman dragging her away from them but she said something that made them worried.

“Something is coming and it is dangerous, can’t you feel the air? It screams danger! I’m here to tell you those, your soldiers were relaxing without even knowing what’s happening out there! It’s coming and it’s coming fast, if you will not order your men to get ready and pull their swords, this camp will not see the sun rises by tomorrow!” she shouted to them while she was dragged by the soldiers.

“Captain, I’m begging you, please trust me with this!” she shouted to captain Benedict until she was out of their sight.

He turn his gaze to Benedict asking about her premonition.

“My king, I think we need to trust her words.” Benedict said to him.

“I can also sense something.” he added.

“Call the attention of the soldiers and let them prepare for battle.” He said to Benedict and he obliged directly. He can also sense danger but it’s too faint. Something is blocking his senses.

He went to check the soldiers, they were preparing their swords and other war equipment but after a minute, they heard growls and other sound.

They were under attacked!

“We are under attack!” Benedict shouted making the soldiers panicked.
Different beasts came to the site, there are wolves, giants, trolls, and flying big bird.

Where did these beast came from?

“Prepare to fight!” he shouted and everyone complied but they were so late. The beast were savoring his people.

“My King, you have to get away from here!” Benedict said shoving him away.

“No! I will fight, this is my people and it is my duty to protect them, even if it cost my life.” He told him.

“But My King, it’s too dangerous, the beast were strong and they outnumbered us!” he said to him.

“I know, I can see that, but I’m the King, I will not run away from this. Remember Benedict, I am not a normal king, I am different and I am also a beast.” He told him.
