I must get out from here!

This luxurious room is not even giving me sunlight! I am locked here for over a week and the only person I encountered was the young maid who brought my food and she didn’t even utter a single word every time she walked in!

I am going insane if this will continue!

It’s been a week since she woke up and King Geordo didn’t visit her after their small encounter. She wanted to ask something about his identity as a king but he never visit her again. She was locked up in there. For the past few days, she started to manipulate her power but her power isn’t working. It seems that it leaves her body.

What is happening to me?

Why can’t I feel it?

She focused her attention to her hands just like what she did during the war a week ago, after a few attempt, she’s disappointed, her power is nowhere to be felt.

Does it mean I don’t have any power at all?

King Geordo must have seen other person that time. I know I have power before and I am still discovering it little by little but I am sure it is not me who emitted those light!

Now, I am drained and has no power at all.

What will happen to me then? If they will discover that I lost my power they might kill me or throw me in the dungeon.

The only thing that keeps me alive in here is that they believe that I am the woman written in the prophesy which inherits the “gift of light”, now that I don’t have any of it, then I will be doomed!

I have to find a way to leave the palace before they will discover that I am not the woman they are seeking about!

I am not that woman and I don’t want to be that woman!

Now, that I am inside the palace, I thought I will unleashed my identity, the voice kept telling me to go inside the palace, but seeing my position right now, it became more complicated.

The palace is not the right place for me. I don’t belong here!

And the voice, they didn’t talk to me at all. They also vanished just like my power.

She was still deep in thoughts when the door cracked open and the young woman who always brought her food came in. She walked in with her hands clutching tray of foods. Her attention was now on the young lady.

She was wearing a servant’s dress and despite her young age, she was tall though Khaliana was much taller but seeing the young servant made her create a good idea on how she will escape in this palace.

Why didn’t I think of that before?

I can use her!

“Hi.” Khaliana started talking to her but she has no response.

“What is the food for today?” she talked again praying she will get a response.

“Please dig in my lady, the food will be cold if you will take it later. If you asked me the name of the food, this servant doesn’t know what it is called. Please spare me my lady if I can’t answer your queries.” She answered in low tone with her head low.

Khaliana became happy hearing her voice for the first time. She thought it would be great to ask the lady about the palace so that if she will escape, she will know what to do.

“It is fine if you don’t know the name, please have some, I can’t take it all by myself, it’s too many for me.” She said offering her some food.
