Tessa was back on the roof. She stood there, bent knees, panting rapidly. This Zipping and Zapping was really taking a toll on her.
The Ancient One was clearly embarrassed. These mishaps were not supposed to happen on her watch. She had secretly made a pact with Mordo to never reveal these time travel failures to anybody. What would people say? The Ancient One is too ancient to do her job?! That would be terrible. The warriors of darkness would think she was weak and attack reality!
The Ancient One cautiously approached Tessa. "Do you need to hurl again?"
"Nope, I was good the first time." With an annoyed and sarcastic smile, she continued. "This is the third time you screwed up. And this time I could have actually been killed because you blocked my magic."
"Yes alright. Let me fix that." The Ancient One complied.
"Oh. I'm not done. This, this ... situation. It is not working. I'm out."
"But you can't. This time we figured it out for sure" the Ancient One persisted. "And here, take this watch. It will keep track of and the time line fabric"
"Are you sure that's what it does? Are ya sure it won't tase me when I wave my hand?! Clearly the two of you, have no idea what you're doing. If anything you're destroying the universe!"
The Ancient One discretely signaled to Mordo and insisted, "Tessa you must calm down—"
"Oh no! Listen here ya boiled egg in mustard. I a—"
ZAAPP
"Boiled egg in mustard. Huh. That's a first" the Ancient One sighed.

96 hours left.
Tessa landed head first on the sidewalk. She groaned as she sat up. She looked around. No one had noticed her arrival. "That saves me some time" she murmured.
"Stupid Bald lady, stupid Loki, stupid ... everyone!" she grumbled.
She checked the wrist watch the Ancient One had given her. Yup, they had done it this time. She was in the other timeline. New York 2.0.
She stood up and brushed off her jacket. "Now" she thought, "I need to find Loki. How on earth will I do that?"
