We, the police officer, Maddie, and I; stop outside, after parking our car, we walk inside the hospital.

"Hello, welcome to Count Kritz Hospital, can I help you with something?"

"Yes, actually, we're looking for-"

"Charles Donnell."

"Okay, and what relation do you have to him?"

"Relation?"

"Yes, the patient will only be seeing his family. He requested that himself."

"Guess he's tired of the paparazzi." I say to Maddie and the police, they both laugh. "We're here to ask him questions if thats okay?"

"Oh I'm sorry-"

"We're with the FBI, on the case 191435, serial killer course."

"Are you chasing that dreadful Surgeon?"

"Yep." She judges us with her eyes. I guess I don't blame her for it though, I mean, I would think I was crazy to if a almost 30 year old man and woman, with a man in a blue police outfit came walking it and claiming to be FBI.

"I get it."

"What?"

"I'd be judging to, if a middle aged woman & man came walking in claiming to be FBI. But if you needs to see our badges-"

"No, no, no, no that won't be necessary. Do you need to see his documents first?"

"Sure. Thanks." Can't believe she believed us, whatever though, truth.

She rummages around an almost empty organizer until she grabs one thing that says "Charles Doyle."

"Doyle?"

"Doyle is his real name. He goes by Donnell to protect his identity."

'Kinda like Charlotte.' I think, I understand this guy.

"Look at this," The police officer says, picking up the vanilla envelope. "Room 145C. Do you want privacy?"

"Sure, wait here. Maybe he doesn't want all that crowd."

"Alrighty." He says, sitting down, Maddie sits down without even asking me, he can read my mind.

"Be right back. Don't worry." I walk into the elevator, where there's also these other people. It has goldish walls, and a fancy red carpet, and those X elevator doors mostly found in horror movies about a serial killer in an abandon hospital. Ironic, right?

It has a weird design on the carpet over the red floor. The carpets also red, but its design looks almost indianish.

I press the button 'Level C' and step by the railing things. I've always had a secret fear of elevators. Strange phobia, I know.

"Where you goin' all by your lonesome?" The man in the elevator asks me with a wicked smile on his face.

"Places." I say, I know his kind. If I told him where I was going he'd probably stop the elevator and make me scared, and hold on to him.

"I'm Max." He says,

"Nice to meet you."

"Is that the way to act to your elders?"

"I said 'nice to meet you' What do you want a whole sing and dance routine?" He laughs. I just made the creepy guy smile. Okay, new approch.

"I'll get out of your hair soon."

"Didn't know you were in my hair."

"Its a figure of speech." Then the elevator stops. Then a sudden chill of Dè Chà Vù went over me. Weird, has this happened before?

"Oh no.."

"Oh no's right. The elevator stopped." Then he goes to the emergency phone thing, and picks it up. 'May have misjudged him' I think, just then the goes on the ground and shakes back and forth. Looks like he's more scared of elevators than me. Hmm...

I walk towards him, and grab the phone.

"Help us, the elevator stopped." I say into the now empty line.

"Sorry, ma'am, we're to busy for your call right now, we'll get back soon."

"TO BUSY HUH?" I hang up. "Oh my god....It makes sense though, cops are always too busy for people like us."

"But I thought you came in with a police officer?"

"Yea, but." I sigh, "He only wants something from me. Than he said he'd leave me to live my life."

"But aren't you a detective?"

"In a way." I go over to him on the ground. Crouch next to him.

"Hey." He says, smiling. I laugh,

"Hey, sir."

"Pfft, call me Max, not 'sir'. But what do you mean 'in a way'.?"

"Oh they're just using me to help them track 'surgeon.'"

"Oh. You know I know someone who escaped that wrath. I was just on my way to visit him."

"I was just going to visit Charles Doyle, do you know him?"

"Yea, I'm his brother."

"Max Doyle?"

"Yea?"

"Did he tell you what this surgeon looks like?"

"No, but he did say there was a giant man that came first, then a little girl came into the room."

"A big man-" Than the elevator starts again. I topple over, and Max stands up. After I regain my balance I go back to my corner.

"A big man than a little girl?"

"Yea, do you also wanna know what he said?"

"Sure. Anything about her?"

"He said that she was really nice, and the girl was the one who helped him leave."
